I know I'm not very active in this guild (I do lurk at times, though, when CB's too gross for even me to whore,) but I think there's a serious subject to talk about here.
I've been questing a Reve for quite some time, and I finally got it...
And knowing it hasn't evolved since October, I was thinking that the artists and Dev.'s would give us Reve lovers a stunning evolution.... But nothing happened.
What ever became of Lyndexter's Journal?
Or Catastrophe!, which hasn't evolved since SEPTEMBER?
I may be one of the people who uses Gaia Cash, but I'm getting pissed off that I've spent MY money on something that's not getting any evo. love.
If you're gonna be tl;dr, that's fine. Otherwise, what do you guys thing about it? "Okay, I'm done."

Yes, I've been "patiently" waiting on the Journal to do *something*.... ANYthing!
And, the Catastrophe...is it done evolving? Or is it going to sit for many months like Titan's Legacy?
BTW..congrats on getting your quest item, the Reve! =)

Everyone's always complaining about one of the evolving items or another. Back during the "tobacco crisis", another of the issues that came up was that EIs evolved at totally random intervals, and some didn't evolve at all. IIRC, Gaia's official response was that "artists themselves take ownership over how and when the items evolves", which naturally drew the angry reply that people were PAYING Gaia for these items, as such Gaia owed them a duty to ensure they evolved every now and then.
Of course, the main EI in the complaints (can't remember what it was) quietly evolved at the next EI report. So yeah...maybe someone needs to gently "remind" the management of this issue again.
EDIT: Found it. Was in the 11/23/2009 Ask the Admin, EI in question was the Case of Pietro (I think)

I have been crying Tears into my Case of Pietro to actually do something. I'm tired of using a medical jacket and the pajama fancy pants suit. If they can't be trusted to release these items in a week or two then they might as well stick to atleast three or so EI items at a time.

Yeah, I have all three of those EIs and it just annoys me. I suspect artist's block of some form is going on.
At least they finally finished Titan's Legacy and got a few nice poses. The first few were rather "blah" to me, but I actually like these last few. Considering it was free and all...

And I's so annoying that I've paid REAL money for item's that they're not working on... Ugh.
I got the Legacy in my tank, and sold it as soon as I could... XD It's still quite lame to me...
And I think Catastrophe!'s gonna evolve, but it hasn't since September 11... So maybe it'll hang around for a while...
And they really should only work on 4 or five EI's at a time, like they did before they started the crap with "Bad Moon."
Or at LEAST finish what they started."Okay, I'm done."

I'm not sure who's in charge of what exactly, but it seems to me that the CoP and LJ artists are slacking off. The journal was actually looking good enough for me to consider actually buying if off marketplace at one point (no access to GC), but it hasn't done ANYTHING in a ridiculous time.

I'm glad the artists finally decided to have Titan's Legacy (love the Gown of Heavens) though I am disappointed that they decided that this is going to be the last evolution. It's been sitting around for how long before it evolved? I remember I used to have a 1st gen Reve but I sold it because I was unhappy with the evolutions. I checked out Catastrophe! and I'm not very impressed. I really don't know where they're planning on taking it from where it is currently. All I can tell you to do is to remain paitent. The artists are going to definitely take their time with the EIs.

 I'm fine with the original artists wanting to take their time and come up with the perfect poses; they rushed EIs at the start and not much good came of that.  But this is getting ridiculous. If your artists are overworked, why are you releasing a new EI every two weeks?
I think they should assign more than one artist to an EI; the Nightmare was shared by many artists and turned out beautifully and quickly. After all, they make just as much money off of newer-gen sales as they do off of new EIs, or they would, if they evolved more than once in a blue moon.
