So I've just started my foray into the Doctor Who fanfic world and I keep coming across something odd.
I've often read The Doctor exclaiming "Rassilon", almost as if he's saying "god" (in the disambiguated sense.) Isn't Rassilon a Time Lord? Is that really how the doctor is using his name? As if invoking "god". Its the way at least that I'm reading it.....

Rasillon, along with Omega and The Other, founded the Time Lord civilization, so they're all technically gods.
