When I went to a meetup yesterday, after lunch we went to the rock shop. While browsing... there was a section with wands.
Ok I thought... I'd just look. They looked cool but not particularly anything about them that wanted me to purchase them.
Except one.
There was a wand in the shelf, that people think looks more like a basic dull knife (the blade portion is very thick fat crystal), in a sheath just sitting there on the shelf.
I didn't even look at the wand at first... I just picked up the wand and was sort of... in wonder about it. I looked it over and was more awed by the simple wand.
It's a copper rod, wrapped in white leather with a rose quartz on one end and then a crystal that takes up a little under 50% of the total length on the other. It's that one type of rock that's several strands that run in a direction.
This wand isn't exactly something I'd expect to ever purchase but... all the others were cool bu this one really just called to me I found.
I'm not sure if there's something relating to my inner self about this or not... and I'll supply a picture if asked for better help.

The wand I currently used was picked up randomly at a shop. It didn't even look like they stocked them, really, and I've never seen another one there again. Small, simple, and turquoise colored with a crystal and a tiny tuft of fur (I'm guessing rabbit) at one end. If it calls to you, then that's usually a good thing. If you can't afford it, that's understandable. Just keep that sensation in mind if you ever decide to build your own.

The last copper wand I found in a shop turned out to be a Cursed Wand of Magic Missile, after I found a scroll of identify. Sadly I ended up trying to use it anyway to save my life and killed myself instead.

Subrosian The last copper wand I found in a shop turned out to be a Cursed Wand of Magic Missile, after I found a scroll of identify. Sadly I ended up trying to use it anyway to save my life and killed myself instead. Failed your saving throw, then?
