Now that you have made ANOTHER item made to earn cash from your citizens like the Snow Apple and many other items, do you now have time to make an evolution for your neglected items like the Case of Piestro?

The first RIG, the OMG box, came with this promise: Quote: Everything you get from this box is worth at least 49 Cash, so you're sure to get a square deal. Or maybe more of a cube. Now they're cramming RIGs with recolors of Cash Shop items that they most likely would have sold for 19-25 cents apiece if they hadn't run out of ideas for crap to stuff this one full of. A friend of mine, and countless others I've seen complaining, received Dashing Gentleman and Pearl And _____ recolored items for winning the RIG. Not losing or forfeiting, but winning.
What happened to our 'square deal'? :/ This is a shameless ******** scam.

The winning prizes depend on the character you're playing, and usually the same 2 will show up again and again.
Yes, the pearls and dashing stuff is annoying as hell, especially since sooo many people get them, that they are worth nothing.
I haven't bought any RIG's for a while, so I tried my luck with the Love Charm, and... I actually liked it more than any of their other RIG's. Why? You actually have a chance at winning, when using brains and patience, and not just luck. You don't get a 'game over' smacked in your face if you click something wrong, other than if it's totally wrong. 1 option brings you further, 1 option brings you back, and 1 option is a game over. Yet, each 'stage' gives tips to what to answer. Only some of those hard to get dates can be very difficult.
Ok, so I liked the RIG, but do I like the prizes? No! Compared to how hard some dates are, the winning prize can be real ********. The easiest ones just need the same answers over and over again, and you still only get some earrings worth 1500g. It would of course be stupid to make an easy date give something huge and great every time, but the recolored jewelry and clothes are just stupid. Also, while browsing the new items on the marketplace, I noticed a huge gap between common won items, and extremely rare ones. Usually the prizes range from 1k - 1mil, but this time, they are either cheap, or expensive, there's not much inbetween.
I like the setup and how the RIG is played, it really made me sit here and giggle on the couch, making my boyfriend look at me as if I were to be some tard. But, the prizes need to be better, at least the winning ones...

I guess its kind of like a tombola...you CAN win cool stuff, but most of the time you'll get a lemon, so go make lemonade. Thing is, I pay 25 cents for a tombola ticket, and it goes to charity anyways, so I don't mind.
I guess Gaia is just trying to tweak the marketplace here so people who spend enough cash will/can convert that into monstrous amounts of gold. Problem being there's no guarantee you'll get the nice items, whether you want it for wearing or selling off.
That, and repacking recoloured items is just being plain lazy.

I agree, it does convey a message of laziness. If they didn't have time to make a decent set of items they should have put off the RIG. This says to me 'we could gift-wrap our own feces and you guys would still buy it.'
I usually am not terribly bothered by RIGs, I'll even try a few if they look like fun (and this one admittedly does), but I am so opposed to the way they handled this one that I am not only refusing to buy any, I am telling all my friends not to.

The dashing gentlemen clothes were lazy. I agree. Recolored items...eh, fine and well, but they should have shoved in something better to make up for that. The bottle item in the rig, everyone in the GCD had been asking for a revisited bottle. They finally got it, so I can see where that came from.
Over all, play wise it is a good rig to play if you get the right person. But alot of these items should have been done as gold shop or single cash shop.
Single cash shop = Gentlemen set
Gold shop = Lovely wrap, picking apart the pieces of the underground sound and put them in the right shops.
Over all I think the playing concept was good, where there was set answers. If you lost was your own fault.
But the items could have been better. I give them 3.5 stars. =O

they are still working on it. So far the focus groups have complained about substance matter and how it refused to save to the avatar and it was broken. They went back for the 5th time to reformat and is waiting on the 6th focus group. razz

Slight deviation from topic...speaking of lousy items that come out monthly, one hopes they could put more into MCs too. January's (personally) has been the best one for a while, but at the end of last year, the MC quality was really low for a while.
I wouldn't actually mind paying for something(s) every month, so long as it's worth it. If they consolidated their quality (unrealistic, I know) into one item, I might actually buy it, nevermind if its a RIG or MC or whatever.

The market is saturated with rigs. Recently they have been bombarding us with rig after rig.
Strange that we can sell the Cash zOMG ring on the market? Seems a bit contradictory and ironic to me. I'm sensing something significent but I can't quite place my finger on it.
Any ideas?
This new Poseidon's Legacy is yet further proof of gaia's facism. Now they have a whole game (so it seems) in a rig to attempt bring out something more origianol.
I mean all of there re-colours of which people speak of, I just don't know why they are included in the origianol item if they are effentially the same as a previous item. It seems silly to me. And then gaia wonders why we complain.
People have always doubted me when I say gaia might become like habbo hotel but with all this new cash shop hype my controvesial theory might be becoming more of a possibility.
