So, Capcom's latest game is Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars, a fighter game. How does this relate to Ace Attorney? Quote: The development team sought to include the characters ... Phoenix Wright and Franziska von Karma from the Ace Attorney series; while the latter would have been easy due to her use of a whip, they had struggled to find appropriate fighting moves for Phoenix beyond his finger-pointing gesture. Though they had come up with an attack that used his catch-phrase "Igiari!" ("Objection!" in English), with the letters themselves used to attack the opponent, they found that localization would have changed the four-character phrase (in kanji) to a ten-letter word and would have unbalanced the game. Eh, it's a shame they couldn't add Franziska anyways. They also should have tried Godot, Shelly deKiller, or even the Steel Samurai!

Wow, Phoenix Wright characters are going to be in this? Their moves described in that quote intrigues me.
I'mma gonna get it.
Just for Phoenix. XD I would have definitely wanted it if there were Godot in it. 8D

Balanar the Night Stalker Wow, Phoenix Wright characters are going to be in this? Their moves described in that quote intrigues me. I'mma gonna get it. Just for Phoenix. XD I would have definitely wanted it if there were Godot in it. 8D Actually, there's no Ace Attorney characters in the game, sorry.

That would have been cool if they did! I'd laugh my butt off watching Pheonix try to fight. I can just imagine him getting beat up pretty bad. Heh heh.

I can't see Phoenix as a fighter, but I can see him taking a whole lot of damage and not looking hurt at all. In the series, he takes some punches, a lot of whippings, a few coffee mugs with coffee, falls into a raging cold river, and getting hit by a car and flying into a pole and he still survives. Now that I think about it, they should put Phoenix in the practice area in the game.

In other news, Marvel VS Capcom 3 introduces a lawyer fighter ... no it's not Phoenix, it's She-Hulk. This has however made a lot of people requesting for him ... even though he's been already nixed.
