Ok, I am sort of young, and I am not a talented writer whatsoever. However, I love this concept, taking place about fifteen years from when Harvest Moon ds left off.
I would like to point out that no fathers participated, and the children were created with magic.
Critique, but keep in mind that I am only a teenager biggrin

"Mika, stay away from that Witch Boy!" It was the Harvest Goddess, lecturing her 15 year old daughter. Both were resting by the Harvest Goddess Pond, enjoying the beautiful Spring weather. Because there were no village residents in sight, the women took little care to stay hidden. Mika, having heard her mother's story hundreds of times, payed little attention, and instead watched a blue Harvest Sprite try to water a mushroom he had found. The young sprite was one of the newest members in the big family. He still had no name, for he had only recently been promoted from a baby Harvest Sprite. Completely absorbed in the little sprite, Mika strolled over to him. She helped the Harvest Sprite tip his watering can, and he thanked her. A cry from the Harvest Sprite Tree rang, "Lunchhhhhhhhhh tiiiiiiiime!" and the sprite ran off. "Mika," the Goddess replied, "as overjoyed as I am to see you finally participating in your Harvest Goddess duties, I do wish you would pay attention! You are not going near the Witch Boy!" Mika sighed. She knew that when her mother lowered her voice to a hiss and spoke of the infamous "Witch Boy," she was speaking of Lee. Mika had just met Lee last Autumn, while all the "Special" people-the name for people like Witches and Harvest people and mermaids and such-were hiding in the shadows at the Harvest Festival. The Goddesses, of course, were there to bless the soup that the villagers put together (you didn't really think that everyone could bring in random food items and expect to have a delicious soup, did you?). The Witch Princess and her son, Lee, had been there to slip in a poisonous mushroom or two. Mika had unexpectedly ran into Lee while conjuring their spells. When they dusted themselves off and finally locked eyes, they devoloped an immediate friendship, despite their mothers' distaste. Of course, it would be quite shocking to find out that your nemisis had a child 15 years ago, and you never knew of it! When the two mothers thought back, they realized they hadn't even seen each other for the past two decades! They each dragged their child off to their homes in disgust.
Ever since then, the Harvest Goddess and the Witch Princess have been trying to talk their children out of seeing one another.
