I thought we wern't supposed to be able to sell zOMG rings? Oh right so that they have a cash shop only ring people are allowed to sell that on. Its a bit like the Kiki Car factor. So what this tells me is that it's ok for people who use gaia cash to make a quick buck from zOMG but the average member is not? They soulbounded rings so people could not speed throught it and I think they just went back on thier promise.

Besides judging from the decription it seems pretty similar to another of the zOMG rings, Diagnose I think (defenatly one of the healing rings), but I havn't seen it in action so I don't know for sure.

I'd like to make one more quick note: Those annoying offers for gaia cash. It's like gaia knows the majority of members who attempt to utalize them probably don't have the money to buy gaia cash directy so it penalizes them by sending them unsoolisited commemcial e-mails and viruses, as if to say we don't like you for not having the money for gaia cash.

I'd like to see how easy it is to get an offer up there. Just for fun. To see what kind of outlandish stuff people can get away with. =)

I think the ring you want to compare to is meat (can anyone confirm?). And anyway, even a level 10 Sweetheart will not help a low level character speed through anything. It WILL make them harder to kill, and raise their CL so early monsters don't aggro on them, but at the end of the day, it will NOT kill anything for them. So, they will still have to start with solar rays like everyone else.
Yes, Gaia is backtracking on what it said for the sake of money. But they do that all the time. And its not letting people make a buck off zOMG, its letting people make a quick buck using cash. That said, I agree that the valentine's event was stupid, and this new ring makes it worse.
As for the offers: we've been over this before, in (at least) one of the older threads. You could probably put up some lame cash offer pretty easily, but don't forget that you'll have to PAY THEM FOR IT. Do you seriously want to do that?

The price is just retarded. rofl I don't know who is buying it but I feel sorry for them. It's basically a crappy Meat ring you can cast on people other than yourself.

It's certainly not the first time they've gone back on their word (I think their reasoning for soulbinding originally was 'they did not want anyone to be able to purchase an advantage', so now I guess it's 'they don't want anyone to be able to purchase an advantage from anyone but them'), and it won't be their last.

At least it's not a super-broken attack ring. Though I wouldn't put it past them.

Well you know what I think. The fact that you can obtain the rings with relative ease in the game means that in game rings will stay soulbound but gaia cash rigns may never be, no mattter how uber; because they will only be sold for a limited time and so, more and more will not continously come into circulation. Thus, NOT making prices plummit because there will always be a set number of those rings and therefore only a pirvaliged few will be able to afford them. And people who are that rich enough will have most likley have completed zOMG anyway.

And that is where my facism idea comes in.

If I went to the main fourm with this aregument, because they are so stuck up they will come up with all sort of excuses to stick up for gaia like I don't know, it's only a 1 off or something else wierd like that and judging by gaia's desperation for us to get gaia cash I bet oyu there will be more in the future.

I don't like what gaia is becoming. A girl in rally was poking fun at me because I was talking to a noob.

EDIT: Typical I take this to the main fourm and they tell me I don't know what the word facism means. I changed the focus (topic) the elitism now anyway. Uh...aprently I'll always been picked on. I quote:

I know a few 'super rich' people, and i can say they're not bullies towards anyone. Matter of fact, alot of them hold charities for those who are new or poor. Not everyone is a greedy jerk like you're thinking they are.

Well they could also, waste there gold buying it, then they can just go to the null collect all the orbs buy doing that exchange thing. Then they have alot. I think as much as you get putting orbs in. Then they can add it to there solar rays OR guns ring. (It pissed me off when I found out that they could do that without having to find it first!! It took me FOREVER to get that ring!!)
