We've never really had an official name for items like Poseidon's Legacy, Snow Apple, Love Charm and the like-- unofficially, they'd been called RIGs (Random Item Generators), but that sounded a little mechanical. From now on, you might see us refer to them as Chance Items or CIs, since each one lets you take a chance at something amazing. Sounds a little friendlier, right?Opinions?

Good grief, they worry about the damnedest things. Who cares what we call it...the damn things sell, and I'm sure that's their main concern. But, yes, I'll stick with "RIG".

Two words. Utter. Bullshit. No matter what they call it, its till a jacked up piece of crap. And they DO have better things to do.
EDIT: Besides, it IS RIG-ged. Gaia is just in denial or something.

Gaia is just in denial or something. *nods* this is very true I also think I'll stick with RIG... because honest the word itself describes the item. stare I've only wasted gold on rig items twice in the whole time they have been out. I refuse to buy them because I NEVER get anything "amazing" .... I feel gaia lies too much some times.

I mean the very original ones like the ancient chest and the like, where 'rigs' but the ones lately are more like some sort of a carnival game, but they requires far less skill and much more luck. I'm gonna refer to them as carny games from now on. You toss the ring hoping to win the electric guitar but end up walking away with a cheap stuffed animal

I would stick with RIG too because some people already call the DIs (donation items) MCs (monthly collectables) or CIs (collectible items) as it is

Speaking of rig(ged), has anyone else tried this new one? Curiosity got the best of me and bought one to play. FIRST ******** CLICK = FAIL.
D< Tried it a few more times because it pissed me off. EVERY SINGLE CLICK, FAIL.
All the items = FAIL. Dashing Gentleman's Purple/ amethyst cummerbund/sash x3, that vanilla n-something sash x1, a lame PINK super hero cape x1, and a lame PINK gi x1.
Those were all the items I got out of those POS'. D< <******** you ******** you... D< PINK IS NOT MY COLOR.

Only rigs that were good thus far for "non-fail" were the trick box and the dating rig. It gave you options and if you failed on your own that was up to you, gave us with less "luck" some hope.

I still call 'em RiGs. I don't care what Gaia announces.
@Toushin: The same thing happened to me as well. 1-click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = continue story, 2nd click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = fail. 1-click = FAIL!!!!! scream
I really don't see how some people are able to get those ultra rare items. It doesn't seem fair at all to me.
