season 4, ep. 13, directed by Robert Tapert, written by Chris Manheim
This episode is one of the best imo. it had the formula of a regular Xena ep but done with some really cool twists.
i especially loved Xena's transformation. every part of it, from the first hallucination to the bleeding massage scene down to her physical change.
didn't she say she hated rats in an earlier episode?

i dunt think she liked them that much in locked up and tied down ninja
but yea this was a really good episode! 4laugh i like it when xenas scary
