I maintain a tank *mainly* for my own enjoyment. I know I don't make back nearly as much as what I've invested in it, gold-wise. But to out and out screw us behind our backs pisses me off.
Gaia tries to be so sneaky every single time they do something that they know the members are going to get upset about, instead of being up front about it. The only thing you're doing Gaia *is* pissing us off more. They just don't get it! scream
Dolphins will soon be nerfed!! If you maintain a tank with the sole purpose of making gold, your profits are probably showing a 40-50% reduction. Read through that thread.... very enlightening!

I mailed the link to a few folks on my friend list who maintain BG tanks, plus I posted the above link in another guild I'm in. Hope it helps.
Might not be a bad idea to spread the word to others that way.

I've gone back and read that thread 3 times, and unless I've missed it completely....they never once touched upon the history they have of nerfing fish. They are wanting us to believe this BG strike centers around fewer glow times, which they are totally denying has even occurred.
It was stated by Gaia staff at a Con that Dolphins will soon be nerfed and a new / better fish will be introduced in the cash shop.
Well, that's the same thing that happened to Watermeat....they were nerfed then the Dolphin was introduced. And that's been done to not just Watermeat. It's happened to high trigger Mini Monsters too. But, that was all swept under the rug.

Yes, they are claiming the glow rate has been "fixed". Not sure it can be fixed if it was never broken. wink But, hey....
We all need to keep an eye on our glow rates, just to be sure.
Now, let's see what they do (if anything) about the proposed Dolphin nerfing.
