Spandex Pudding
I know I'm going to get some people disagreeing with me on this trust me I know.
Good, get ready, cause here it comes.

But honestly its making everyone receive gold way to fast, and its making a lot of items in the Marketplace inflate big time. The users here are becoming extremely spoiled with the gold flow, including myself I admit that.
To quote myself from countless other threads:
Sure, nerfing BG is one way to fight inflation, but does inflation really need to be fought? People need to change their thinking on inflation (related to Gaia.. RL inflation is a different story). People keep thinking "Oh, this item was 30,000 back in '06 and now it's 100,000! Inflation bad!!" But that's only half the story. Back in '06, the only way to make gold was posting and polls. I think the puzzles may have come out either late '06 or early '07. So on a good day, a person could make about 2000 g, tops. Now, a person can easily make 10,000g a day (and if they want to spend more time they can easily make MUCH more than this). So let's think about this:
2006:
If you made 2000g a day, it would take 15 days to buy that 30,000g item
2010:
If you made 10,000g a day it would take 10 days to buy that same item that's risen to 100,000g.
Point? Even though it costs more, items are much easier to get now than they used to be. Bigger point? Gaia inflation does not need to be fought!
(I so realize I'm one of the few Gaian that feel this way, though. I'm fine if you don't agree with me as long as you see where I'm coming from)

If everyone remembers, the Gaia aquariums were not intended at the start to make gold or profit on them. Booty Grab came later, the aquariums are nice you can decorate them and add your fave fish feed them and earn some gold threw the overseer back when the clam was in there. It is still the same with having Jaw's in there. And when the bottle thing came out that you can put questions in there and get people to answer them and you answering theirs, you get gold from that as well.
No one is saying that tanks are only good for BG.. so I don't understand the point you're trying to make here.
Spandex Pudding
So what if people are not getting as much glow time as before? If you don't like the idea of lower glow time no one is forcing you to buy Gaia cash, there is many other way's to get more gold on Gaia. Just buy some items from the cash shop and sell them, heck buy a few EI's and wait tell they are fully evolved and sell them at a good price. Have you seen how much some EI's are going for now a days?
You're missing the key point.. MANY users have ALREADY bought the fish and THEY'RE the ones being screwed over. We can't go back and return the fish saying "I don't want this if it isn't going to work right." We're (for the more part) the people who are complaining and we have a right to complain. If someone goes out and buys fish now, they do so knowing about the nerf, and that's their choice. I didn't know there were going to be nerfs galore and yet I'm still out my GC/gold.

So with that said, I am definitely grateful for the nerf because now the Marketplace will eventually even itself out. Some items are obviously not going to become 40-60k but it will even itself out a bit more.
It's not going to do quite as much as you think. Those that play BG will still earn just as much as they did before. There's more than enough tanks out there that they'll be able to find a glowing one easily. The only people missing out on gold are the tank owners. So while it will take some money out of the system, it's not going to be enough to really affect the market (remember, the SOS gold sink reportedly removed BILLIONS of gold from the system and the MP still stayed the same).
