any one know anything about them yet? these games seemed like they were going to top articles all around, but so far the only news i've heard was on deus ex 3, even then it was just a trailer. These games had some great starting hype, then they just sorta dissapeared, heck far cry 3 was just said to happen it wasn't even anounced. dead island isn't even talked about half the time and deus ex3 is the only one that anyone has actually heard about in the last three months.

I haven't heard of Dead Island at all actually.
And yeah, DX3 last I heard was just the vague trailer... I'd love to see it come out, the DX series is amazing.

There's some new stuff on DX3 in the latest PC Gamer and Gamepro I think it was.
I got the PCG but haven't read it yet.

yea i saw, but i noticed that theres an extended trailer you can find everything that has premeired lateley at e3 at e3expo.com But dead island is going to have a revolutionary system for damage skins on humans(and otherwise zombies) that has a layer system, depending on where and how you hit someone or something that hit takes a set number of layer off. The first few layers look sort of like scrapes, then as you go deeper the mutilation grows all the way until you hit inards, very cool system.

That type of layered damage system was in Kingpin and Sin and Solder of Fortune... which are all about 10 years ago.
DX3 has a PCG cover story, haven't read it yet. The previous issue didn't have much, just some general impressions and a few Q&A.

nah this is an adavanced form of that, better....perfected. About that Deus Ex cover story though, that is going to have alot more on the game which takes place before the events of the first game. The guy you play as supposedly had a bit of an accident and without the cyborg engineering that he had done, he wouldn't have arms. Then supposedly your going to be able to mix it up between a cyborg(which are since obselete in the second game) and a person with bio mods(nanites that allow one to do extrordenary things such as have a flash light in yours eyes that only you can see, super strength and others). (if you do not care for console games what so ever then this next paragraph is not for you) On the other side of gaming (consoles) they are not only making the amazing Deus Ex3 for them but an addition to a long time title that many know called Metal Gear Solid. This new addition is after the death of the hero Solid Snake, you then take control of the cyborg ninja(yes very B-list) Raiden who had a sort of father son bond with snake. You can control his sword and cut pretty much anything you want at any time with great percision. The new name is Metal Gear Rising. Deus Ex 3 E3 10 TrailerTech demo for multi layer damage in dead islandDead Island Teaser, evidently the game has been posponed a bit

Yeah that's definitely more advanced. Broken bones? Interesting...
Dead Island is by Techland?
Call of Juarez was really good, the sequel too. I'd recommend both if they're cheap.
Ammo conservation and not shoot em up eh... sounds interesting. Thanks for putting this on my radar.

yea thats how i remeberd, its ok. Not the grestest FPS ever, but still its pretty good if you just want something to do. They have an inventory system sort of like a deus ex1, but game play i cant really remeber, all that i remember is that i liked it a bit. Battle field bad company is good too(although off track) i just remeberd that i got it and i would throw it out there.

been playing the witcher, i got the full THQ package from steam on my dads account but im only on at night(like 11 to 4) and sometimes in the afternoon, but that THQ package was amazing and he also bought kingpin but hasnt installed it yet but im looking forward to trying it. We also got uplink thats supposed to be pretty good and ive been playing (besides the witcher) torchlight and freedom force. All the games except for freedom force that im playing right now are pretty current and are RPG based(freedom force is more of a comic book inspired RTS) and by my standards their all pretty fun but the witcher is little complicated and torchlight is just one of the many hybrids of WoW and diablo(like fate) and is ok it has a lot of things that set it apart from diablo and WoW like its art style and dungeon style just some games to check out. and while im posting.... Brink a new FPS by bethesda(which isnt only RPG's which is what people think) it is an FPS that has an XP system in the SP and MP and the way character looks doesnt effect his abilities its his stature(big=strong and slow small=weak and fast) and they have a system call S.M.A.R.T. it stands for Smooth Movement Around Random Terrain It basicaly is one button that if your looking(for example)above a pipe that is hanging low while holding this "smart" button then you jump over it, if you look under however you would do sort of a slide or a roll. Smart just detects the best way to get over or under the obstacle that is challenging you so that you still can shoot at your target. Brink is something im looking forward to. P.S. BLACK OPS IS OVER RATED!

Kingpin is pretty good though you have to forgive it a lot of things.
I liked Torchlight but it's not nearly as entertaining as Diablo I found.
Freedom Force is good... I played Third Reich and liked it.
Lately I've been playing Tomb Raider Legend... which means I played it for like 3 hours over the period of 1.5 months but it's pretty lame. Awful controls on the PC.

I picked up the Uwe Boll Farcry movie at Walmart for $5.... should be awesome.
The villain is Yuri from Red Alert 2.
