I'm not so much into politics, so I don't know much nor care to know much about him. But I do hear very different sides. Some people I know say it's about time someone got in there and made some real change, and it's a show of how drastically our world is changing and improving because of how he was chosen. People like my grandparents, on the other hand, say that he's too inexperienced and is spending far too much money on crazy ideas that'll just end up putting our country so far in debt that it doesn't matter if everyone is taken care of. Also, that the way he's going will have every single thing controlled by the government.

I think he's well intentioned. I think every president is. I'm not a big politico but I will say that I do tend to favor small government while Obama is expanding it a bit. I do think debt is a terrible thing for a country but we do need to get back on track financial-wise. But I think the best way for that is Laissez-faire capitalism. It worked immensely well with Reagan and I think free market is the way to go.
TL;DR: I think he's doing what he thinks is best for the country but I think he should decrease gov't rather than increase it.
