Rachel SummersBorn of Phoenix; Sacrificed LoveIt wasn't that bad that she needed to get away. It wasn't same as usual. Her body glowed as powers took it's tool and the next thing she knew she stood in central center. Telepathic control shielded the tattoos of the hound as she looked around. The symbol flashed in her eye and felt the force on Earth. Where? She sensed someone. "Mom," gasped Rachel! How can the Phoenix exist on the same plane? She would have to find out. It was weird. Never in a million years did she think her mother would here. Her green eye were wide for a second and realization that she would be with her mother. A sudden burst of pure joy rushed through her veins. She couldn't believe it! She could be a daughter and go shopping with her mother!
Looking at the rags she wore her mind quickly changed them into a decent clothing or this earth. She walked slowly around central park taking in the more whole Earth she was now apart of. The sun was high and in the sky and the birds sang like they never did before. It was wonderful to see happiness on the streets of New York but the Phoenix Force felt strong here. Rachel made no move to appear like a mutant. She rather keep calm and worry free. It was too perfect. The world seemed to be carefree. Maybe the mutant free didn't live in this world and everyone was accepting of others. Yeah, that really is much to ask for, She scolded herself for the thoughts that would never come true in a million years.
Peace was a wonderful gift. The woman was thrilled for it but she still looked over her shoulder for any signs of danger. A telepathic net was tossed out to read people's movements. She wasn't going to pry she just want to feel safe in the strange place. She wondered if Uncle Alex and Dad were here too. She missed them all crazy.
