  Hello There! It's so very nice to meet you! Welcome to the world of Pokemon! My name is Argan. However, everyone just calls me the Pokemon Professor. This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokemon. Here, I have a Pokeball. Touch the button on the middle of the Poke Ball, if you'd please.  ;;The young trainer touches middle button, and a Corsola pops out.;; We humans live alongside Pokemon as friends. At times we play together, and at other times we work together. Some people use their Pokemon to battle and develop closer bonds with them. What do I do? I conduct research so that we may learn more about Pokemon. Now, why don't you tell me a little about yourself?

  No God-mode-ing, please.  PM me your profile. Once I accept it I will allow you to post it in the profile thread.  Swear is fine just don't swear every other word.  PG-13 people.  Follow Gaia's ToS. I don't want to close this down.  I don't care what gender romance it is, just keep it PG-13.  You can have up to 2 RPC's here, just try to keep them all active.  You can post as many times as you can. I know some of you can't be online all the time. Just don't leave someone hanging unless you will be back on the next day or later.  Make sure we can distinguish between speaking, thoughts and OOC chat, please.  Posts must be at least one paragraph long (4 - 5 sentences). This is for those who are used to longer posts.  You are not allowed to own ANY legend unless it is OKed by me. And if you want to abtain a shiny Pokémon you must generate a random number from 1 - 500. If that number is above 450 then it may be shiny. If you are trying to catch more than one pokémon in the post only one of them may be shiny.  _____It's the year 2015 and the world has lived in peace from the disappearance of the wretched Team Galactic. The two tiny heroes were praised as the "Great Banishers of the Cult" and their names went down in history. Along the coast of Euphia, a region not many have heard of and even fewer have seen, the people have also lived in peace. But a new alliance is forming under their noses. Organized crimes such as Poke Mart raids (Oh no! No more Hyper Potions! D: ), Nurse Joy abducting, (Though they were found afterward) Pokemon theft and the all too familiar loss of Poke Block and Poffin machines, it was becoming all too clear. A new form of the Galactics was emerging... their captain's identity is unknown for now. The two original heroes are no where to be found in the time of need. The new found republic of Celestic Town known as "Akira" has finally come up with a name for these hooligans: Team Universe. It's now up to the new generation of heroes to set out on a journey to set things right... will you join the fight?

 Magikarp Type :: Water
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: Oblivious to feelings she stares emptily at the lake. She usually swims with Feebas since they had the same trainers before they were abandoned. Unlike Feebas she distrust most Trainers but even for a Magikarp she is pretty violent as most Magikarp are gentle. Most Trainers know Magikarp is weak so they tend to stay away from her so she gained her distrust of humans.
Other :: Because she is aggressive and will always be, if someone makes fun of her trainer she will attack. She loves Spicy food. Pichu Type :: Electric
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: Pichu is nervous around strangers, but once she gets to know them very friendly and optimistic. Prone to happy outbursts for little to no reason which usually end up in her accidentally shocking those around her, she can be quite the handful. In battle, she packs a very large punch with powerful electrical attacks. However, due to a frail complexion these strong attacks will usually leave her in a dazed and confused state due to the inability to control, her own strength. This Pokemon will be hard but rewarding to train, and needs a friendly trainer willing to put up with an electric shock now and then.
Other :: Pichu is rather loud with her speech to make up for her small size, and can be quite affectionate to her trainer whom she would bond with very quickly if they were kind to her. Loves to perch on her trainers heads and rest there whilst they walk, as usually she can't keep up with other peoples pace due to her tiny legs. Is incredibly scared of water and swimming in general, and favorite food is sweet berries, so berries like Pecha Berries or Bluk Berries should be perfect for her. Togepi Type :: Normal
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Togepi is never shy. He will walk up to complete strangers and try to become their friend. Though he is social Togepi can be very emotional. If he becomes sad in the slightest he will over react and cry his heart out. In battle, Togepi may not be the strongest in the bunch but he is a great tactician. He will think his moves through before releasing them. If it seems like he is not listening he is contemplating on how the move will be released. This Pokemon is a good starter for those who would rather be friends with their Pokemon, than make it a hardcore battler.
Other :: Once Togepi becomes attached to his trainer he will mysteriously begin giving him//her gifts. From small pretty rocks to flowers. He may be a handful to take care of but he is a great companion. He just loves to be held by his trainer since his small stubby legs don't allow him to walk fast. He just loves sour food. Wepear and Aspear Berries are perfect for him. Houndour Type :: Dark/Fire
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: She was the Alpha-Female of the pack before she became one of the pokemon of the lab. Because she was a leader she will command your party with a straight forward attitude. If she does not like the way things are going she will get angry and start to bark making the other follow. But when things are going smoothly she loves to relax even with her strict policies showing her true character.
Other :: Being relaxed she loves eating sweet berries and sleeping if everything is calm. Having said that when she is strict her taste buds change as if she had different personalities! So when she's strict give her dry berries. Tyrogue Type :: Fighting
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Tyrogue is a Pokemon that can be very independent. He likes to do things himself. Though if you have the patience to get close to him he will count on you as an ally and maybe learn to be less independent. (He could remind you of Pikachu in the beginning of the first season of Pokemon.) He is hard to befriend, but once you're there he will be with you forever. In battle, he is an all around fighter. Though train him in specific areas certain things might happen. Train him in defense he will evolve into the quick kicking Hitmonlee, train him in offense he will evolve into the powerful punching Hitmonchan, though if you train him in both offense and defense equally he will evolve into the super spinning hitmontop.
Other :: Tyrogue is one tough cookie to break. Though he has a tough exterior, he is a Pokemon just looking for someone to love him. On befriended he will be the most loyal companion that has ever existed. He prefers to walk outside of his Poke Ball rather than be cooped up inside. To tell you the truth he is afraid of being inside. Tyrogue loves anything and everything when it comes to food. He can be a little piglet to so be careful when feeding him, he may not know when to stop, he also may not leave any for you. Elekid Type :: Electric
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: Elekid, the mini shock wave electric Pokemon. A strong, physical alternative to Pichu, and a faster one at that. This Pokemon can pack a punch when it comes to Agility and Attack, but its poor defenses can be a letdown for those who like bulky Pokemon. Capable of learning attacks like Ice Punch and Cross Chop, you'll wonder how you ever went into battle without her. She can be tough to train without love and an iron fist to boot, so take care of her. Be sure not to stick your hand between those horns, or you'll be in for a shocker! But try not to be too harsh, or she may just punch a hole in you.
Other :: Elekid is a tiny Pokemon with a big personality. She tends to play tricks on unsuspecting trainers, and gets a big smile out of it when they end up falling into a ditch. But remain patient with her, and those tricks will be just old memories, and you'll be itching to make new ones with her (That don't involve falling into large holes). She is a loyal ally and a great starter Pokemon for those who are patient, loving and kind. But she can be a tough cookie if you yell at her too much, cause her trickery only masquerades her sensitivity. She won't cry, but bad things do tend to pile up. Elekid enjoys long walks in the thickets and scaring little water Pokemon. She also loves spicy foods, so give her lots of those Cheri berries. They're like a shinigami's apples. Magby Type :: Fire
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Magby is a very lazy Pokemon. He tends to lie around and do nothing a lot of the time. If he could he would just lay around all day and do absolutely nothing. And being lazy makes him a very good cuddler. He loves to lay with his trainer and just sleep. Never will you be cold laying with him. In battle Magby is a quick fighter. He tries to get things over as soon as possible so he can just relax. Strong attack and special attack makes moves like fire punch and flamethrower perfect.
Other :: Become Magby's friend and he will keep you warm during cold nights. Because of his body heat you could sleep for a while since you'd be all nice and cozy. Magby, along with sleeping, loves to eat. Anything and everything are his favorite foods. But unlike Tyrogue he knows when to stop. Azurill Type :: Normal
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Azurill is very precise about things, preferring to get things right first time than learning from flawed mistakes. Somewhat silent, Azurill is thorough in his actions, detesting leaving things half done and unfinished. He also has a very protective domain over his belongs and friends. In battle, is a balance of both defense and counter attacks, preferring to let the opponent slip up to their own downfall. This Pokemon is quite balanced to train, and requires a trainer who can support it reasonably.
Other :: Once Azurill gets attached to his trainer after a while, he will become very defensive over them, often confronting and blocking strangers be they pokemon or human from getting close to them. Prefers sweet berries, and is somewhat afraid of getting lost and/or separated from his trainer and friends. Skitty Type :: Normal
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: This Skitty loves to be the center of attention of everything and everyone. Skitty usually has fun messing with male Pokémon pretending to love it and at the last second breaks that Pokémon's heart in two. But when alone she feels lonely and just needs someone to give her all of it's attention. She usually stares at the Moon for reasons unknown by the professors of the lab. Strangely if you give her enough attention she will get attached to you and will be very protective.
Other :: Because she is very defensive, she will not let any Pokémon or human bother her trainer. She doesn't like to be in her pokeball since she does want you to pamper it either in a pouch or a pillow while carrying her. Despite her ... snobby ... personality she loves spicy food. Feebas Type :: Water
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Abandoned by his old trainer since he was weak with the other Magikarp in the lab the two are the best of friends. He also has a once sided love towards her. He usually loves the rain as he flops in the puddle trying to get other trainer's to pick the Pokémon but his efforts have no prevail as his disgusting looks prevent it from being picked. He is very loyal since no one has shown him much kindness as he feels saddened. He will follow you till the ends of the earth if you show a lot of kindness towards him and would risk his life if yours was in danger without hesitation.
Other :: Because he is loyal, he will try his best to win in a battle even if the chances are slim to none. He is also happy to eat any flavor of food. Budew Type :: Grass//Poison
Gender :: ♂
Personality :: Timid and quiet, Budew shy's away from anyone and everyone as in his nature. This pokemon has a habit of latching onto his trainer and never letting go, usually to afraid to make anymore friends then that one person. However, this also means that all of Budew's affection and efforts pour into this person, meaning he'd want his trainers wishes to come true no matter what. In battle, Budew is highly elusive, and has a habit of being very hard to hit. In defensive and offensive terms however, he is slightly below average. This pokemon will be hard to train but has alot of potential, and requires a very patient and considerate trainer to help ease him out of his shell.
Other :: Budew is only ever comfortable alone or with only his trainer. If there are other strangers around he will more likely than not wrap around his trainers arm, leg, or neck tightly the way an infant would hug its mother for reassurance. Adores lullabies and being sung to, and favorite food are Dry berries. Riolu Type :: Fighting
Gender :: ♀
Personality :: Being a combination of brave and curious, Riolu finds herself in trouble more often then not when left to her own devices. Like most fighting types, she holds a burning passion for many things, including battling. Can dish out rather large damage when need be, but cannot take too many hits due to a frail disposition. This pokemon would be a handful to train, and is in need of a trainer that can match her excitable nature.
Other :: Riolu has a habit of picking up shiny or generally intresting things off the ground, usually showing or giving them to friends or her trainer with the pride of being its finder. Likes spicy foods, and hugs from time to time. She is terrified of the dark.

 Professor Argan. Professor Argan is the ... well ... professor of this RP. Like the other professors, (Oak, Elm, Birch, and Rowan.) She studies Pokemon and plans to learn all she can about them. Her assistants and she study non-stop. But unlike the other professors she does not have any younger family to help her. She relies on the help her assistants provide. But like them she helps younger trainer get their journey started by providing them with a starting Pokemon and few Poke Balls. Argan is most notable for her vast research facility, where he cares for and studies hundreds of Pokemon. Her sarcastic attitude and other antics are also notorious. She also has a hobby of drawing or painting Pokemon in their natural habitat. Rather, there are countless Joys working at Pokémon Centers across the country. As a rule, Nurse Joys are kind, earnest, honest Pokémon nurses who take care of sick and injured Pokémon. They are not entirely identical, though aside from themselves, it seems that Brock is the only one who can tell them apart. However, each Nurse Joy will have a different color cross on her hat that indicates which location she works at. Supposedly, they are all extremely similar-looking relatives— cousins, sisters, etc. However, fans have proposed various other theories has been suggested for the strange phenomenon— everything from time travel, to cloning, to the Nurse Joys being Pokémon themselves. Officer JennyOfficer Jenny is not a single entity. Rather, there are many Jennies working as police officers across the various regions of the Pokémon world. Generally, Officer Jennies are brave and determined, but mostly ineffective in their police duties. They fight against the likes of Team Rocket, Team Magma, Team Aqua and Team Galactic - among other miscellaneous criminals. The town/region where a certain Jenny comes from can be discerned by the symbol on their hats which always differs depending on location. Although Jennies appear mostly identical, there is some minor divergence among them, as evidenced by Brock, who is able to recognize different Jennies on numerous occasions. Brock appears to be the only character who can tell them apart. However, each Jenny has a different symbol on her hat that indicates location. There seem to be two Viridian Jennies, as during the Indigo League, two Jennies with the same hat symbol were seen side-by-side. (We know that the symbol in question--a star--indicates Viridian due to previous episodes.) One of the Viridian Jennies maintains a fierce rivalry with the Jenny of Eterna City. Tony was in his bed snoring loudly and late for school."Tony are you awake!" His mom yelled."Muncher go up there and wake him up." Tony's mom said to their pet munchlax as the small pokemon climbed the stairs to wake up Tony."Urgh what time is it?I don't care 10 more minutes." Tony yawned. [Munch munch..Munchlax!] the pokemon yelled pushing Tony off of the bed."Son of a gun it's 9 o' clock!I'm two hours late!" He yelled running off grabbing food off of the table and running out of the door.
He said running out of the field.Today he would get a pokemon as he ran as fast as he could to the lab.Reaching there he would see a small building "Professor?" He said as she came out eating noodles."You have another cup?" Tony said asking eating the pancake in his mouth."No and here's the Magby I promised you." She said smiling."Thank you!" He said opening the Magby "I'm gonna call you Magma!" Tony said as the Magby in a split second shot a ember attack at him."Owww." He said standing there.He hoped someone else would come in there to pick up there pokemon he wanted to battle them.

- Pern Masterson - XXXXXXXXXPern ran his hand along the train railing. He had a couple more minutes to wait before the train stopped. He glanced at the post card he had received again "Wow... guess even at my age a Professor will accept me to become a pokemon trainer." he said as he stood up. The train was slowing down and he was about to get off. He would no doubt be driven to the lab by his personal guards. He thought himself unlucky to always be surrounded by people, never able to get away. Those were his thoughts as he exited the train.
"You guys may wait here." he spoke to the people around him. They listened as they waited by the Limo that had driven Pern to the Lab. He like the luxury of being in a well known and wealthly family, but somethings were annoying such as being guarded all the time.
Pern walked into the lab he found the Professor "Hello I am Pern Masterson."
She just smiled and said "I know, you are also here for your pokemon?"
Pern nodded "Yes... umm... I do believe my father asked for a specific one. I do not know which one though." he said in a embarrassed tone.
"No worries, I have it right over here. It is a Male Tyrogue that was specially breed in Kanto. It is supposely of a long line of Hitmons, therefore is know 4 attacks." she said as she retrieved the pokeball "They are Rapid Spin, Mach Punch, Bullet Punch and Helping Hand"
Pern smiled and took the pokemon and thanked her "Thank you... I will do my best."
The Professor smiled "Ok, but I have just one more thing. Here is your Pokedex, it will help you identify any pokemon you come across. Also it will analyze any data you get and report it to us. So please do not forget to use it, it would help with a lot of the research we are doing." she then handed him the pokedex.
Pern took it and put it into his bag "Will do." he spoke as he turned away and then noticed the boy with a Magby. He carefully took out the Pokedex "Well I guess I should try it out." he said as he walked up to them
Pern walked up to Tony and Magma, with his pokedex out. He was scanning the little Magby.....

"Hey I want a Pokedex!" He yelled as the professor gave him one."God you act like a child." She said as he snatched it.He scanned his pokemon fast to learn the attacks "It knows the attack Smokescreen,Ember,Smog,& Fire Punch" The Pokedex replied."Mama get ready for battle!" He yelled enthusiastically.
Magma stared at the small Tyrogue [I remember you.You were the one emptying out the food storage right?] Magma smirked "Magma use Smog!" Tony yelled but since Magma wasn't really accepted with Tony as it's trainer it didn't follow directions as it used it's Smokescreen attack! The lab was instantly filled with a black cloud of gas.What would the opponent do?Attack,Defend,or get rid of the gas? [You know Tyrouge are of a male 100% species which means that pairing is impossible or an Action Replay is available in the universe? xD]

"Feh." Jin groaned. He fancied himself a sort of....traveler. Yeah, traveler. Nudging Meowly, and petting him gently, the little pokemon got up. Hm..usually that took a lot more effort. Climbing down out of the tree he laid roost in-no real home anymore means no comfy beds-he grabbed his backpack and walked down the roads. To be true, he had absolutely NO CLUE even which town it was.
Meowly ambled beside him on fours, purring and wagging his purple and tan tail. 'Mya mya Meowth?' he asked, which basically meant in poke tongue, (What is THAT?) And stared. Smoke was pouring from some kind of building...He tapped his head against his human, and ran ahead. Humans were smart, Jin would understand. After all, he wouldn't accept a stupid partner.
Jin stared as well. "Sm...Smoke?!" He reiterated, and heard a sigh-like sound from Meowly. Impatient little guy. He caught up, and opened the door to a fight between trainers..But it looked as if one of them wasn't quite listening to orders.
'Nyowly nyyowly nyooowth.' (Now I wanna fiiiiiight) He moaned out, jumping on Jin's shoulder. Jin often told him not to-Stuff like 'You're too HEAVY!' but it wasn't as if he DID anything about it- anyways, battles looked clearer from up higher.
