 Jynx had just been fishing for her lunch, and after catching a large tasty fish and eating it, she went back to her favorite tree. She stood at the bottom and cleaned her face of any leftovers, and decided it was time for a nap. She turned around to face the tree, and reached both her front paws up above her head and against the bark. She raked each paw down the tree a couple times, sharpening her claws even more. Thoroughly happy with herself, she gracefully leapt from the ground to the lowest branch about five feet from the ground. She made her way to the best spot on this branch, where it was thickest, and lay down, curling her tail around her. She started purring, and soon, was asleep. It wasn't long though, that something startled her awake. She jerked at the noise, and almost fell off the branch. This instantly made her grumpy. She looked around for what might have made the noise to disturb her afternoon nap.

Limenight had been sleeping in a bush nearby. He was awaken by a tickle on his nose. He opened his eyes slowly without moving. Suddenly he saw the very small yellow and black thing on his nose. He raised his paw to swat this thing away, but in an instant he felt a sharp pain. "Ouch!" he yelled.
He jumped up and jolted out of the bush. His nose was really painful, throbbing. He'd never really had a feeling like that.
After yelling and jolting, he heard a disturbance up in a nearby tree. He glared to see what it was. "Uh oh, I think I woke her up with my yell" he thought to himself. "But that really did hurt!"
He thought that he should at least apologize, as it looked like he might have disturbed her slumber. He walked over to the tree that the lovely lady was napping in.

Jynx saw what had woken her. It was a brightly colored male tae, who apparently had a bug problem. She yawned, and feeling a little grumpy from not getting her nap out, frowned. She jumped down from the tree, landing gracefully on all four legs.
She padded over to the male, swishing her luxurious tail behind her. When she was about a foot from this stranger, she sat, curling her tail around her.
"So, what's your problem mister? Whatever it was, you woke me from my beauty nap." she said, only annoyance in her voice.

"I'm terribly sorry," Limenight said to the young lady. "You see, this... thing.... did something.... I don't know what it was, but see.." *Limenight touches the red spot on his nose* "OUCH... it hurts."
Limnight walked a bit closer as he talked. "I was trying to get away from that... thing"

She saw the red bump on the males nose. "Oh, it stung you." she said. "You'll be fine. The pain will go away pretty soon."
She saw another bee flying nearby. "There are more bees around. Wanna go somewhere else? One sting hurts bad enough. You don't want another." she said, standing, not waiting to see if he'd follow. She didn't want to get stung either.
She walked a little ways to another of her favorite trees, and stretched out her paws, and scratched at the bark a few times. She turned back around and sat, licking her front right paw, peeking a glance to see if the brightly colored male had followed her or not.

"Wiat...What? There are more of those?" Limenight ran up next to the pretty lady and walked with her to the next tree.
As he saw her try to get comfy, he decided to do they same. He went to jump onto a branch that was clearly not string enough to hold him, because as soon as he landed, the branch broke from underneath him.
He immediately got up, and pretended like nothing happened. He found another cozy spot on the ground and sat.
"What brings you to this area?" he asked as he began to relax.

She watched as he tried getting into the tree, but fell back to the ground. She stifled a giggle, and hid her face to hide the smile. She turned back towards him when he asked her a question.
"I live here. I have a den nearby, but I like to sleep up in the trees. That one we met near was my favorite napping tree, mostly because it has large branches to lay on. This one..." she indicated with her tail, "not so much. I've fallen out of it before, just like you did. The branches aren't nearly as strong."
She thought a second. "I don't think I know who you are. Where are you from? And what's your name? I'm Jynx." she said, swishing her tail slowly, showing off it's luxurious shine.

Limenight rubbed his nose again, feeling the swelling, hoping that soon the pain would go away. It was hard for him to focus on a conversation, and now that he had fallen out of the tree, it made it even worse, but he tried.
"Now I know why you didn't attempt to sleep in the tree" He said, "You could have at least warned me" he giggled.
"Oh, and My name is Limenight. I just wandered about here. I haven't chosen a specific place to settle. Just wander around from area to area, hoping to keep myself out of trouble."
He walked even closer, and noticed the tail swishing a bit more. "You are a very pretty lady." He said politely.
