I didn't see a post with this, and I think it's really important to have in a guild like this.
If you feel suicidal it's important to get help, and I think the suicide helplines do a pretty good job of that. A number for the US is 1-800-273-8255. I don't know numbers for other places though I can try to find out.
I know people can be apprehensive or scared of calling. I certainly was. The first time I called when I was fifteen I hung up because the person sounded mean. And the next time I hung up before someone even answered. But the third time, which was just last April (four years after the first time I called), I reached someone who was very nice and supportive. They talked to me and gave me numbers to call so I could get help.
I know some people are worried that by calling they'll send police or something, but as far as I know they only do that if you say you're definitely going to try to kill yourself? Please correct me on that if I'm wrong. I said I was suicidal but wasn't planning on doing it and nothing happened to me.
Sorry this is so tl;dr, but the point is it's worth it, really. If it weren't for them I wouldn't have been able to get help at all, especially from a place that I could actually afford.

Thanks for posting this. I would have but I didn't know the number and hadn't looked it up yet. I'm going to make this a sticky so that it remains where people can see it in the guild.

I'm going to make this a sticky so that it remains where people can see it in the guild. Of course. I'll edit it with more numbers once I have the time to look it up, since I know there are others.

There's also 1-800-SUICIDE. I've been calling them ever since I was maybe thirteen, fourteen, off and on throughout the years. One time I called them because I was having a panic attack, and I didn't have any numbers for just talking to people in order to calm down. Last time I called them it was in the wee hours of the morning and it kept sounding like they were picking up the phone and hanging it up, but probably no one was there.
Does anyone have numbers for other things, like just general talk lines, or talk lines for people who are having panic attacks?

I'll add that one, since that's the other I was thinking of. I just wanted to get the actual numbers and was being lazy. I wasn't capable of talking when I had my panic attacks. I'll research these things tonight or tomorrow and edit the first post.
