Hey! I'd like to send a special shout out to blizok for giving me this idea, albeit indirectly. This is where we can introduce ourselves and get to know each other a little better. I'll start.
I'm purplepe. That stands for purple people eater, as in the one eyed one horned flying variety. My real name is Emily, and I'm 14. I love writing, singing, and drawing, though I'm not really that good at drawing just yet. I'm working on it though! Uh... I like Twilight, Harry Potter, and Ender. Orson Scott Card is my favorit author, thoguh at this moment it's not one of his books that's my favorite. I won't bother telling you my favorite book, because by tomorrow it will be different. Well, it looks like everyone's ignoring the thread, so I'll go next.
Hello ^^ I'm Okaami (Allison) and I'm one of the two vice-captains for the guild. I'm 16 years old irl and a little over 2 years old here on Gaia. 3nodding I, like our glorious captain Purplepe, enjoy drawing, singing, and writing, in that order. You can see some of my stuff in the arenas and decide for yourself whether I'm good or not. I like House of Night, P!nk, and Bones. My favorite author miight be either Pierce Anthony or Tamora Pierce. biggrin (No, the names aren't on purpose. lol.) Although again like Purplepe, I don't think I have a favorite book.

Hello! I'm kdgalaxy (Katie) I am... quite a bit older than the previous posters... however, I am as young as you at heart! I have been out of college for about 3 years now and work at a Symphony as a box office rep. I enjoy drawing as well, but haven't been able to really get into it lately, I plan to again soon. I love anime! Thats why this site sucked me in! I like Harry Potter and Twilight books and movies. My favorite author is Michael Crichton. I've only been on this site for about a week... but I got the hang of it pretty fast. I tried being normal for awhile, but kept going back to being a dark elf... I think its my avi's calling lol

Hi, i'm imunliketheothers (Stephanie). I'm the same age as one of the previous posters (ooh, guessing!) I love writing (for myself and those close to me only), singing (though not very good), and teaching. I like a variety of books, though my favorite has yet to be decided. I am however a fan of C.S. Hello there my name Is Hazdriuth and im 17 years old..the back story of my nickname is there's a Dark elf name generator...i type my name..then i came up Hazdriuth!so i used this nickname like for ANYTHING...anyway i like to run,relaxing,and playing games..and im one of the fastest runner in my school and im 15 feet tall

Hello I'm SingingGoblin, (or Talon if you'd like my InChar name.)
I'm mostly here to *ahem* roleplay *ahem* as a male darkelf. Am I male... am I female... That is left to be seen.
I am a *cough* friend of SingerElf. I have mostly joined Gaia to stalk her. We are rarely online at the same time though.. TT She'll tell you more about me later.
My in character personality is based off of a fantasy novel series Elf and I are reading together, by Lisa Shearin (Note: this is an adult urban fantasy. Not for 18 and under.) They are about an elf seeker girl who (finds?) a soul-sucking stone of evil power, and she must find a way to "un-attach" herself from it. XD
I play an arrogant (and insanely gorgeous), lady-killer with a very powerful spell-singing voice, named Talon.
In reality I'm a really nice person, and not arrogant at all.... usually. wink
