 Seraphim stretched out on a sun warmed rock with a sigh of contentment. It was nice to finally get some time to himself away from the distractions of new rina. ‘You’d think I’d have learned my lesson last time,’ he thought to himself amused. When he first arrived in this strange new world he never would have guessed he’d have six kids in two years time. ‘Two litters of three, wonder if it means something,’ he thought drowsily as the softly flowing river stated to lull him to sleep.

 Tribas was wandering about grazing. H was content in the warm sun, but was hoping to find a place to relax. He had seen a nice rock that looked comfy, but suddenly it became occupied. He was curious on one hand, and wanted to know who had taken the rock, but on the other hand, he really didn't care. He grabbed some berries of a nearby bush, and strolled over to the rock. "Hey! Whats up?" he said to the stranger on the rock.

Seraphim refrained from jumping in surprise at the sudden exclamation but just barely. He leveled his best glare at the younger male annoyed at having his peace so rudely intruded upon. “The sky and a few clouds,” Seraphim replied sarcastically looking up. He unfurled his wings, shook them, then resettled them against his back as he sat up. Clicking his beak he regarded the younger male coolly, suddenly very glad that none of his daughters was with him today.

"Har har har!" Tribas replied to the strangers response. "Sorry dude, didn't mean to disturb your slumber! The names Tribas." he says as he nods his head a bit. He felt a bit of sarcasm, and wanted to retort with even more in reply, but tried to hold back. He didnt want to make himself out to be a complete a** on teh first meeting, although it seemed that he might be doing that anyway...

Relaxing his guard slightly Seraphim inclined his head in greeting. “I’m called Seraphim,” he said all traces of sarcasm gone for the moment. Deciding that despite the seeming lack of manners that the younger male was not a threat Seraphim stepped away from his perch on the rock and over to the river. Leaning down he took a drink then turn back to Tribas. “I don’t believe I’ve seen you around these parts before, are you passing through?” he asked curious.

"Nice ta meetcha." Tribas said as watched Seraphim move closer to the river. Suddenly he jumped up onto the rock, let our a semi-loud roar and then joked, "I king of the forest!" and then leaped down. He finally made a stride to the river bank. "I'm not from around anywhere in particular. Just hangin out, ya know, lookin for the females." He thought more about Seraphim actions, and that he seemed to be less tense. "This guy might be a nice pal" he thought to himself.

Seraphim snorted in amusement at the king of the forest line. This kid was something else, that was for sure. “Just stay away from my daughters and there won’t be any problems,” he said seriously. He could clearly see Arctic’s reaction to one of there daughters bringing home a guy like this in his minds eye. The vision was hilarious and he barely kept from laughing out loud over it.

"Dude, you got someone knocked up?" Tribas asked. "Way to go!" Trbas leaned over to take another drink from the river. The he turned away and spotted another berry bush close by. He walked over to the bush, thinking the whole way. "Where are the little ones?" he asked, surprised not to see them with their father.

Seraphim shook his head and let out a soft chuckle. “Be glade my mate isn’t here, you’d have been gutted before you ever finished that sentence. Wolves can have very bad tempers when they desire to,” he said extremely amused by the comment. Spotting a small school of fish not far from the bank he debated going fishing but decided he didn’t want to get wet. “There with their mother,” he replied before his head snapped around and his eyes narrowed. “At least there supposed to be,” he said as he stalked over to the thick underbrush at the edge of the forest that bordered the river on this side of the bank and pulled out a female rina with wings and a wolfs tail.

"Eh, I could handle her," he replied. "She prolly dont have nothin on me!" He happend to see the fish and leaped in to catch some, although all of the splashing and romping around in the water scared all the fish away. "Damn, there goes lunch." he said. suddenly he felt something underneath his foot. It was a smaller fish that he happened to step on in all of his noise and jumping. He picked the fish up in his teeth. "So you have a stow-away, huh? he asked. It was very hard to understand him with a fish in his mouth. He walked back up onto the shore and shook himself off vigorously, getting water everywhere.
He dropped the fish in front of Seraphim. "Here you are, I am sure the little lady could use a bit to eat."

Distracted by Amitiel’s presence Seraphim didn’t notice the use of the pronoun she by Tribas. Glaring down at the rina he was holding gently by the scruff of her neck in his beak he muttered something intelligible around the fur as he was hit by a few drops of water. He blinked at the fish and set the rina down next to it. “Thank you,” he said thrown by this abrupt change in behavior. “Her name is Amitiel,” he added still a bit off balance.
Amitiel batted slightly at the fish confused, having never seen one before. She mewed softly at her daddy hoping he would tell her what it was and what she was supposed to do with it.

Tribas giggled a bit at the rina playing and batting at the fish. "She kinda cute, I guess" he said, trying to be polite, but not really sure how to. It was out of his nature to be polite, but he didnt really want to anger this new acquaintance. After all, that beak did look like it could do some damage to him. Tribas wasn't really a fighter, he just wanted to look and sound like he was a big man.

“It’s a fish sweetie, you eat it. Be careful of the bones, you can’t eat those,” Seraphim told his daughter with a slight smile. Looking at Tribas he nodded. “They can be cute at time but most of the time they’re little monsters,” he said with a soft laugh, memories of pulled feathers and bitten tails playing through his mind. He considered the other male for a moment, the change in demeanor made him wonder if he had experience with rinas. “Do you have any children?” he asked curious.
Amitiel took a tentative bite of the fish. With a happy mew she devoured the small fish.

"Children, who needs them?" he asked, without really meaning it as a question. He was trying to stay 'tough', but he really did have a soft spot for the little lady. "I wouldn't want any." He clearly was not speaking as he truly felt. He thought he had an image to uphold, but wasn't doing a good job. Tribas stared at the rina, astonished that she had finished the entire fish that quickly. "Are you full now?" he asked the rina.
As a side note, Tribas is a father, but he does not know. he had a ONS and does not know that he fathered 4 rina's

“I used to think that way, I always thought I didn‘t want kids slowing me down. Then my first daughter was born, that was before I came to this land, and everything changed. Rather then be a weakness she made me stronger,” Seraphim said with a sad smile lost in memories of a life now lost to him.
“Mew,” Amitiel answered happily with a nod. Yawning sleepily she snuggled into her fathers side.
