Sylvia is the girl that you’d notice second or third in a crowd. She is pretty with her blond hair and fair skin, but nothing about her stands out very much. She is tall-ish but still average, pretty but not stunning. She usually wears minimal makeup, she doesn’t need it. Usually it will be mascara and lip gloss. Her hair is wavy when she doesn’t straighten it, but she usually does. It’s hard to place Sylvia when you look at her. She doesn’t fit into any set mold. Syl usually dresses somewhere between preppy and casual, but also stylish with a rock star edge.

The thing that is extraordinary about Sylvia is inherited from her father. Her powers are practically the same as his. She can create fire, as well as manipulate fire that already exists. Fire doesn't harm her. When she covers her entire body in fire, she can fly just like her father. She can shoot fireballs from her hands.

She has to be careful, however, to keep it in control. If she tried to do too much at once with her powers they can get out of control and possibly injure others by accident.

Sylvia has an unexpected personality, once you get to know her. Before she knows you and trusts you, she puts on an easygoing and unconcerned face. She does this so that she can learn as much about a new person as possible without making them think that she is offended or something like that. She is very good at hiding her emotions if she doesn’t want you to know them.

But usually, she wants you to know exactly what she is thinking. Once she knows you, she will push the limits of what she thinks you can deal with. At least when it comes to her opinions. She will often say something just for the shock factor. It is a strange way of learning about someone, but it works very well for her. She is accomplished in finding buttons, and pushing them. If you want to make someone angry very fast, Syl’s your girl. She likes nothing better than a good debate, and will stand firm to her beliefs. She’s very good at arguing her case, whatever it may be.

When she isn’t busy telling others what she thinks, she’s usually fooling around, having fun and making jokes. Of course, this can be looked upon as immature by many. Sylvia also loves parties, especially dance parties.

Sylvia's parents met in an unlikely place, the hospital. Rachel was a young intern to a doctor that was taking care of Johnny. And Johnny, being Johnny, flirted with her and obviously they hit it off. After a year or so of being with her, they found out that Rachel was pregnant. Rachel came from a highly traditional family, so they decided that they would get married before the baby was born. Johnny had been planning to ask her anyway. They two seemed to be made for each other.

When Sylvia was born, Rachel had to go back to school and her job, to reach her goal of becoming an ER surgeon. This left Johnny at home with his little girl. He was fine with this, although it was a little strange for a while. He had let Rachel name Sylvia, but insisted on her middle name being Danger. He thought that it suited her, and it has proved appropriate after Sylvia nearly burned the house down as a toddler. That was the first sign of any power from her, and if Johnny hadn't been there they house would have been gone. Instead, she only destroyed her toddler bed and a nearby chair.

Sylvia grew up like a normal kid. Her parents had decided that they didn't want it to be publicly known that she had powers, so only the closer people to them knew. She went to a normal school, and just graduated with average grades. In the future, Sylvia will want to have goals that involve using her powers for the greater good, but for now her life is just one big party.
