What’s This?

This is where you post anything you want, need, or want/need to discuss that is related to in-game/in-story going ons.

The storyteller presents [x] scene, information, or plot twist.

You are encouraged to make your own threads, interact with other characters, build relationships, and what we like to call “chase plot”.

This is a section to create your own plot, usually surrounding your character.

For example, if you are new (or old, it doesn’t matter) you may post something about your character and ask if any other players want to establish a relationship with your character to further story or character. Who wants to be my characters friend? And someone may post, My character [x] could be someone you went to school with, maybe we even dated for a few months but then broke up because I found another girl I was more interested in but now, since we’re both looking into joining the new Avengers --- we have to come face-to-face for the first time in … what would it be, three years? Does that sound cool? And in this fashion you build plot bunnies. You could request anything you wanted or just say, Hey I’m looking to do an action scene, maybe we hear a building is on fire somewhere in the city and I show up to try to save some people trapped in the top floor (classic hero stuff) and … who wants to show up too?

This is probably the most important section of all of Lead by Example, the way this whole roleplay system works is YOU, the player, taking the ball the storyteller has handed you and playing with it. Passing it to other characters and engaging in a game.

You can also use this section to try to plan major events that you want to happen with your character. (As long as nothing here threatens to disrupt more than 10 people, as established in the general information. No destroying major landmarks, skyscrapers, mass-killing, killing canons, killing other players (without their total permission and altering a storyteller beforehand), etc, etc --- nothing that would make it on the nightly news nor any global or national scale. You can do something that would make it on the local news as long as it doesn’t affect a canon item/location/character. I know I keep repeating this stuff everywhere but I feel I have to. If you want to do something that involves any of that, you need to talk about it with a Storyteller which, currently, is myself or Starheart Jay.)
