Well, since this was where my first little side-story was posted I figured I might as well modify it. This will now be the forum for all plot-bunnies about or relating to Ioann.
I will post my ideas and anyone else is free to make suggestions.

I have about 5 days still before I'm back, great to see you Jyon, and welcome!
If you're looking to just start a thread, we could say that Ioann was held up via international transit issues. Since I know Petre Stark would not have send him a formal invitation to join the Avengers/come to the first meeting at Avengers Mansion (because of his fugitive record). He might just have to try to find his way to the Mansion of his own.
We could say that he gets picked up by another guild member's character, and via some rp, they could take steps to bring him to Avengers Mansion. He could even get picked up by the law and incarcerated and, given he is talented, perhaps the Stark family helps to clear his name (as they have done in the past for others heroes, like Ant Man). If you wanted to go that route, it will be 5 days (like I said) until I am home and able to start those things off or reply to anything you've started.
I can see some cool stuff to rp with this when I get back, my character, Pete, will defiantly want to see what this foreign criminal (in her eyes) is doing in her polished Avengers hut and she could, eventually, and through her father help to clear his name and take further steps to help him out. All things to rp that would be interesting.
Those are ideas right off the top of my head, I have wi fi at a hotel just for tonight before I head out for more camping and then, 'round 5 days, I should be back home!

I know Petre wouldn't have sent him anything. I figured it would be Tony who sent the help to begin with. If it is Petre (or anyone else) that goes to pick him up it would probably be under false pretense. As in, Tony doesn't want them to know he's harboring a Russian fugitive so he makes up a false origin to tell the team.
I don't want him to be incarcerated right away, but seeing as Leviathan is an organization much like HYDRA or SHIELD then any time we go against villains or groups with some financial power then they could probably have other Leviathan soldiers or COSMO operatives for Ioann to go against.
That's just some thoughts I had. I'll wait to post until there's a more concrete storyline to work with.

I can have it be Tony for you when I am home in about 5 days, if that's what you would like (I also rp as Stark senior). I can have somekind of scene with Tony coming to get him in some high class limo with tinted windows x.x

I didn't mean it would have to be Tony physically coming to pick him up. I just figured it made more sense for him to be pulling the strings to get him into the country to begin with.
Or it can be Tony. Whatever works easiest.

Oh! Well. Hnn, I'm not sure where to start for your character then. If you want to just make a first post of some anonymous person that Stark paid coming to collect him to take him to some safe house, he can even be brought to Stark Tower... and there meet with Tony or Pete, or whoever you want.

If you want, Celaeno could be asked to do so while waiting for Pete to come back with her dad. She has nothing else to do besides working at her shop and stuff...?
