~GCG Weekly Chess Game~ Wednesday, August 25th; Sunday, August 29th at 4 barton 001060 in Towns Requirements - - - - * - - - - Wednesday Sign-Up - - - - * - - - - Sunday Sign-Up ****Requirements**** To reserve a piece-- *Must have read and understand Rules and Policy. *Must be 99 percent sure you will make it to the game. If not, just be backup. *Must have an avatar which looks similar to your piece on game day. See Avatar Suggestions for Playing *Must post claim to their piece in this thread. First come, first serve. To reserve a King-- *Must conform to requirements for reserving a piece. *Must know how to play chess. *If you don't show up to the game, you will be known as a massive disgrace to the whole guild and everyone will point and laugh at you. To be backup-- *Must have read and understand Rules and Policy. *Does not have to be 99 percent sure they will be there. 20% Should be sufficient. *Does not have to look like their piece. *Must be able to quickly change between a black or white avatar before the game starts, to fill empty spaces. SUGGESTION! Do you have a calendar on your phone or computer? If so, put us in there! Schedule a reminder for this game and have a little chime or pop-up let you know it's time to play! That way, if you do have time for us, you can come join and not miss it simply because you forgot! If you don't have time for us when the chime goes off, then you can ignore it and go about your day. Make sure you have the right time!

take out the S in the "est" and "cst" and stuff, and get rid of the "standard" in all of the time zones.
There seems to be some confusion.
Also, tell Arizona people to pretend they're in Mountain Time. Not their arizona 'F U Daylight savings' timezone.
or skip that last part. But get rid of the standard.

So I just put up a video on YouTube and it said I put it up at 7:45am PDT... but I'm in EST, three hours away... but my clocks all say 11:45am... my state goes by Daylight Time, too... I'm confused.
But ET sounds weird. If only we could go by Gaia time. On this online community program, it has its own timezone, but it's just Pacific Time put with that program's name. There's no daylight time with it. But whenever you start up the program, you can see the time there.

Go to the website. I think that helps seeing everyone's clock in conjunction with your own. This post was made at midnight from Georgia, USA (the Eastern coast). The game will be held in 17 hours. Will you be putting it in your phone or computer calendar?
