13 years and now they found someone that wants to do some work on it,it seems that gear box is becoming a video game power house, because at about Feb. they finaly got their last expansion out for Borderlands wich brought the count to 3. i still cant wait for new duke, does any one know the specifics about it yet(i.e. 3rd person RPG[highly doubted but still an idea] etc...)

It's just finishing up what 3DR started so no major changes... they have some of the original team at Gearbox now.

It's about DAMN TIME DNF's development went out of that dreaded "development hell" stage. I mean, did we gamers, namely FPS gamers, have to wait ******** years for all that bullshit? What the ******** hell were the team smoking when they were charged with making our favorite FPS icon to look like? If they delay the development like the folks at 3D did, psh...

If the game is delayed agian, it better be the best ******** game I've ever placed in any game system, or not comeout at all.
But if it doesn't I still think is has got to be good, duke 64 was great for well what else N64 and Duke 3D for computer was good, manhattan meltdown wasnt the greatest side scroller ever but it was good, so i think this game has alot going for it.
(side note) is any one else reminded of Duke Nukem when ever they think of the game(not that horrible movie) postal?

There won't be a Duke Nukem movie, as far as I can tell. If there is, it would most likely be directed by a s**t director like Uwe Boll or whoever...

The Far Cry movie was surprisingly entertaining, I don't think you can make a better movie of that game.

it had a very shakey story line, one minute you here fighting mercs the next your in the jungle infected with some STD that a guy named Goyle(or Doyle, or maybe hes the one helping you) gave you and fighting monsters that are a look into what you will become soon (even though you dont get to see what happens to Jack)

It's hard to enjoy an Uwe Boll movie, even though the Far Cry movie may seem decent enough.

saw it finally, is ok...but jack is german, its not right... and the part where the m60 tears through the hallway with jacks friend waltzing through and the scientiest gets shot, well thats a shot from an anthoney bourdaines "no reservations" episode...they were so cheap they used a moch clip... look it up (anthony bourdain[a writer and vacation spot journalist for discovery channel] went where they shot the film and had a moch set up of him getting shot and they actually put it in the movie)

Hahha that's pretty hilarious. Oh well, it's actually pretty common for movies to borrow scenes from other stuff.
