>Biography -
Ryugi grew up in a place that few remember exist, the small northern town of Prox in the great Iluris Nation, nearly at the edge of the massive Gaia Falls. It was a town filled with many hardships, but the fire psynergy of the people there made living in the icy climate more bearable. Ryugi's mother and father were both fully human, not like the town's populous of altered individuals with blue or red-hued skin and hair. The fire psynergy had altered them to better suit the harsh climate it would seem, but Ryugi's family was accepted among them with open arms.
Over time, Ryugi trained and became proficient at a wide range of fire psynergy, mostly combat oriented, but a few of the healing arts he learned from his mother. However, all the training in the world, it would seem, was useless in defending his city from the terrible onslaught it took only two short years ago. The small town was burned to the ground by a dark man, seeking the power of the Elemental Star for himself. Ryugi was away on a hunting trip when the attack happened, and he and the other hunters were stricken by the horrible sight of their friends and loved ones laying dead on the snow, blackened fires still burning amongst the ruins.
The sight hardened Ryugi. Shortly afterward he left Prox, taking his father's sword, Ragnarok, with him in memory. He vowed to kill the man responsible for destroying his home and his parents. With his vow came the realization that the spreading of alchemy's power throughout the world would only create more deranged people like the man that had destroyed his home, and due to that, he vowed to stop the lighting of any other lighthouses with all his power, or to dim their light himself...
