Why open a topic about those buggers? Because I've got some things I wanna discuss xd
First of all; I watched the letters on the market last night, and they were going for 95k per letter, unopened mind you. I then log on this morning, finding them on the market for 190k a letter, and around the same price for each of the items. Whoa eek
While looking back on some of the past letters, but still not very old, the current prices really surprised me, since they are insanely high this month. But why?
This makes me think about another thing. Is it the fact, that the items are each for boys and girls? Gaia usually makes neutral items, but this month, it's quite obvious what they were going for.
Also, a flying letter in the header? *rhymes* It annoys me enough to have each months RIG mascot next to my avatar, but now also a letter? gonk
And we just got rid of the huge stickers...
Any thoughts? Will the old Shadow Spirit now boom on the market, because of Light Spirit?

Personal impression is that the gender targeting has been becoming more apparent recently, but oddly, I don't really find it that bad for these two.
As for the flying letter, I guess everybody finds it annoying. Tongue-in-cheek explanation is that one of the coders just discovered how to do it, and got addicted razz
Also, correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is to my knowledge the first time we've gone as far as BLOOD on the items? And as if weapons weren't bad enough. Hate to stir up old issue, but how is smoking NOT PG-13 and yet going around waving bloody (excuse implied french) weapons is? stare

Huh, I kind of like the summonsing circle on Light Spirit because it's definitely Cardcaptor Sakura inspired. xd
Muramasa is just a Ancient Katana rip-off though, and since I already have the katana there's no need for me to go for it.
If the flying letter annoys people, they should block it with Adblock.
Worked for me.

As for the gender specific items, it's not that surprising. I can recall multiple times when other Gaians have complained about this. Most of them were guys saying there were too many girl items (angelic lace, classilke) and not enough guy items.

I can recall multiple times when other Gaians have complained about this. Most of them were guys saying there were too many girl items (angelic lace, classilke) and not enough guy items. They're right on the last one. I used a potion to become a guy yesterday, 'cus I was bored and wanted to try the sausage achievement. Although my inventory has a lot of different stuff, I could not put clothes on him. I made the top part look really good, but his belly just looked plain gay gonk I'd say we need more neutral items, and putting them in the letters would be really nice. I really do feel for the poor guys, now that I've tried to be one myself...

RIGs have pretty much dethroned MCs as the thing Gaia puts the most work into though, so I think they should start with RIGs.
