At least that was my first thought when I went to Tektek, to check out the new RIG items stare Seriously, the new items only match themselves, or the Reve Rouille. I can't really think of other items they can be worn with. I also find their price ranges pretty disturbing. Normally, several items will range from 300k to 800k, but this time, I've only found about 4 or 5 of those items. They are either stupidly expensive, or mind numbingly cheap. And pretty ugly if you ask me... Oh, and did I mention the word 'boring' yet? No? Well, they're boring too. And I've been saving my gold for a whole month now, because I thought the RIG items would be worth it, but no. Those who are, are mainly the dolls, and you can barely get one of those for under 1 mil. I'll wait until the prices for the cheap ones I actually liked drop even furhter, and keep saving for the next month xp Oh, did I mention they're boring? I did? Oke...

You gotta admit, they HAVE to start running out of things to RIG about eventually...hopefully this means some dropoff in promotion, since I'm really getting sick of having my header be an ad for something or other for half of the month.

You and me both sister! The first thing that really bothered me about the new RiG is the name: Cirque du Gothique. Was it really so hard for Gaia to come up with a different carnival/circus idea? The whole gothic circus idea is really overused, and unless you can do it well, you shouldn't attempt it in the first place. Here are some examples of circuses of the bizarre/gothic that I've seen used over the years: Professor Screweye's Eccentric Circus from We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story Escape from the Carnival of Horrors from the Give Yourself Goosebumps by R.L. Stine Circus Gothicka from Danny Phantom Carnival of Carnage, one of the past events from Halloween Horror Nights. What really bothers me is that none of the items look 'gothic' in any way. Have you seen the recolored Pale Marionette? It's hot pink! Wth?

Have to agree that the "gothic circus" idea is really tired...the RIG might as well be called the "Cirque du WHATEVER" and the name would be equally descriptive. Then again, Gaia seems to have a history of being somewhat pressing with the whole range of "goth" things, so this is a "natural" progression.

Pink Marionette. Really? -_- And right when it's released, just because of the Pale Marionette, it's jumped up to near the same price (i.e., hella expensive)

The pink marionette makes me gag. I have a pale marionette and I've had it since it came out. It's probably my favorite item. I kept telling myself "someday they'll recolor this and i'm going to blow all my gold on it" but no. It feels like a cheap recolor and the shade is gross. Who wants to wear pepto pink?
