Story
In a small town, were everything normally went right. A young man died of natural causes. His soul wandered through the town waiting for a shinigami to release him into the soul society. One day, a shinigami finally came and tried to preform the soul burial. This in experienced shinigami however, preformed the burial incorrect and instead of releasing his soul, sent it back into his decayed and rotten body. The living soul was tainted, as it had experienced life once again after death, before moving on. The very being of this soul began to become aggressive and bewildered; it contained properties of the living and now that it has experienced both. The soul reaper tried preforming it once again the correct way, but was unsuccessful and killed by the living dead. This soul rampaged through the town, turning everyone else into it's own kind. With the only shinigami assigned to the town dead, who would report this mayhem back? The town was now leveled with destruction and death as the dead walk. With months passing by, these "Zombie" like people continued to walk endlessly throughout the town.
There was not much of a change within the Soul Society after these events, but Huenco Mundo was effected the worst. One of the mere hollow in said world, stumbled upon this town by chance and decided this was an opportunity for him to turn it into his own little playground. The rest was history. . .
It may not have been Dakota's or Saitoshi's problem, but they made it their problem
