They make me so angry emo . I mean, I know it's the internet, but we're still people, we can be civil to each other. I believe in being polite, and a lot of people seem to forget that on the Internet. neutral

Like when I'm playing games with people on OMGPOP and stuff, some people are just so...sigh. Let me just give a couple examples.

-We were playing pool, and I won. My partner promptly said that she hated me and left.

-I was playing pool (again), while I was sick, and as I missed several shots and lost a couple times, I joked that my aim was off because of all the cough syrup. Finally, I won and the girl says, "IM SICK TOO", so I asked, "Oh, what do you have?" and she says "IM SICK OF YOU" and leaves.

There are seriously so many people with no...I don't even know what you call it.

Thankfully, I've met a few nice people, like an architect from Dubai, a guy who just needed someone to blow steam off with, and a guy from Costa Rica, with whom I had a chance to practice my Spanish.

But then there was this other incident on a different website, where I was playing Monopoly.

There were these two people who were evidently friends in real life. As we played, they asked me where I was from. I told them it was complicated, but they asked me to explain, so I did (I've lived in a lot of places). Then one of them actually said "okok shut up alredy". Then we got to the subject of race, and I said I was mixed, and which races I was. One of them then said that she wasn't going to talk to me.

I was confused so I asked why, and she called me a liar because, uh, it's impossible to be more than two races. Her friend backed her up, and I tried to give an example of someone who was black from one parent and white and asian from the other, thus being more than three races. They didn't believe me, and proceeded to throw insults. One asked how old I was. I said and my age and she told me," well obviously ur to young u ll lern wen ur older".

...I just left.

Aww Para ]: Im sorry that happened to you. I really don't get why people are just so mean like that. Don't they have any sense of conscience?

Ive had a lot of those experiences at work..I work where a lot of kids play and eat at, making a huge mess. I know the parents dont realise it as rude. But they dont care one bit if their child had made a mess and they just have us clean it all up once their finished..I mean, it wouldnt be rude if they had come up to me or a coworker and told us that their child was kinda messy..but no, they dont say a thing ): ALSO a lot of people my age, since im still in highschool are so rude and mean! UGH like they dont give jack didley about you or how your feeling, theyre just always rude, easily to set off fuses and blow caskets >_<..

BLAHH!! Time to take down the age of rudeness!

Yeah, they can be annoying. But I just remember something I read somewhere, "All people are annoying 10% of the time", and I think that's pretty much true, even if the Internet can make it easier to be annoying, ignoring those people or trying to have compassion for them helps me deal with rudeness, I guess.
