Okay first I must say I've not long been awake so I could be overreacting to this but this advert greeted me this morning as I went to grab the freebies. Does anyone else think that this advert should not be on Gaia? Sorry if I stretch the screen, it wasn't intentional edit: Okay so now you have to but stuff from the cash shop worth at least 249 cash to turn adverts off??? WTF?

I've had that ad for weeks, until today when I was finally able to switch it off. I think their ads are based on the viewers age, or at least I hope so.
This reminds me of the ad in the cinema a few days ago. It was about women being beaten up by their boyfriends/husbands, and we were gonna watch Despicable Me ( = lots of kids in there ). I had my 4 year old son sitting next to me, and a woman complaining about the ad to her young daughter right behind me, since the girl asked what it was about... *sigh*

Adblock is my friend!
But I don't really care about ads. They are needed to keep the site running. There is a place to report inappropriate ads though.

Gaia has really shown their greediness now. You only get to have 7 Ad free days using their off device. Then when that's used up, you have to purchase something from the Cash Shop for 249 Cash in order to turn off the Ads for 30 days, but to turn off the Ads "indefinitely" as Gaia put it, you have to sign up for their monthly Cash Shop Cash program. That's bull**** considering some of us don't have Ad Block!

Mei tsuki7 Adblock is my friend! But I don't really care about ads. They are needed to keep the site running. There is a place to report inappropriate ads though. Gaia has $10M in the bank. They aren't just 'keeping the site running', not by a long shot. Scarlet Ember Kitten Gaia has really shown their greediness now. You only get to have 7 Ad free days using their off device. That's bull**** considering some of us don't have Ad Block! I disagree. This time, they are not being greedy, they are simply giving the users who use GC anyway the opportunity to turn off ads, since they donate money, and therefore do not have to see advertising. The space used for ads turn into 'thank you' messages from Gaia. I'd like to compare this with a movie on TV, and on DVD. You don't want commercial breaks on the DVD, since you bought it, right?

Hiwa Kaoru Bokusenou Maybe she doesn't use Firefox or Chrome? Then maybe she's an idiot. lol. IE = s**t anyway. Who uses it still :/At the moment I am stuck with IE because my archaic laptop can't supoort anything else and I can't use my desktop as haven't finished upgrading it anyway, that and it's lacking a big enough power supply to power up the graphics cards in it. So please look at the facts behind a situation before you start calling people idiots.

I thought IE 9 wasn't too bad...(though I still use Firefox) Anyway, maybe she's in a situation where she can't use other browsers, like Vox said.
