Day 9: Poisoned Apples
“Poisoned apples hanging from a vine,

In fact ----“ the page turns red with the blood of Heart Shaped Toastie as her body covered the page of her latest poetry assignment. The cops interpreted it as a suicide note and moved onward. A true tragedy for our Shakespearean age.

Running as fast as she could from all of the bright and shining light, Tedie Behr was fleeing the sight of the rave. So much ecstasy and various other drugs were being passed out like skittles. It was a modern day skittles party for goodness sake! People could DIE from one of those.
As she ran, she managed to bump into the officer with a ten gallon hat. “Why hello there little lady.” He said politely as he tipped his hat. “You’re a little far from the pasture now aren’t you?” he asked as Tedie Behr just squealed and nodded back. “I do reckon that you need a lift back to the green lands.” He chuckled as he opened the door of his squad car and Tedie jumped in on instinct.
As they drove she finally got the nerve to speak to the scary police officer. “This isn’t the way to my house sir.” She piped up as the man looked back and replied with a condescending tone.
“I know, you’re under arrest for the murder of Sibeko.” He said, flashing his badge and handcuffing her on the spot.
“Sibby? But he hasn’t been around for ages!” she cried as the cop car drove off into the night.
