The title was a joke because having brief "bwahahahahaha power" moment is a normal human reaction. ninja But don't worry, I'm not gonna go overboard and be on any insane power trips like 99.9999999% of the politicians in the world. So first things first are what I want to get done and what I expect of you guys as well... because its not a guild without everyone here, it would be one person posting messages to themselves, which is silly.
1. POST MORE!!! I really don't know what you all are waiting for, I know you guys are around here somewhere lurking with the voting turnout and how many people reply to lurker threads. Don't worry if you think your idea won't get replies or not. Post about anything. Seriously ANYTHING, within the boundaries of the ToS and pg-13 site rating of course. Your dog, cat, chinchilla did something silly or cute, post it. You ate some awesome food from some place or from your granny, post it.
Discussions won't happen if you don't talk at all. It doesn't matter if some people may not care, thats they way life is anyway. So don't worry if you think others won't care, agree, or think its boring. Everyone has different views about things no matter where you are, its all cool... as long as you aren't going to shove ideas down peoples throats like: GRANDMA'S CHICKEN NOODLE PISTACHIO POUND COOKIE CAKE IS THE BEST FOOD EVER AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU GUYS EAT IS DISGUSTING AND TASTES LIKE ROTTEN EGGS. So post away!
2. GM apps - by the time any of you read this hours from now, they will be up already. Since we've had little to no turnout the last few rounds of apps, I'll be loosening the requirements this time around regarding who can apply.
3. Crew/Kroo elections - How often do you guys want to run them? How many crew do you guys want? Are you all ok with a rule saying that if crew hasn't been active in weeks and hasn't given any indication that they are leaving, will be demoted and replaced after a reasonable amount of time? Point there is: We need active crew. If someone poofs for months they really can't help with crew stuff when there is crew stuff. They can run again when they have time again but if they don't feel like being around they can say so and someone else can have a turn.
My opinions on this - I think we should have about 2-3 crew max with the number of currently active people. If you think any currently active crew members have done an awesome job of keeping things running, nominate and re-elect them. Do what you guys think is best. biggrin
4. Your ideas - DO THEM! You guys have ideas, post them. Make the threads, events, art thingies or whatever else things you guys have planned or thought out actual threads and things that everyone can see and post in. Share your ideas to promote the guild. I've said this a bunch of times in my campaign thread and the captain nomination thread so I don't need to repeat it here, but now is the time for you guys to go ahead and carry out and share your ideas.
5. What to expect of me - Like I said before, don't expect me to be a guild mommy and do everything. Things won't work like that and no one, including me has time to do that. I'll do my part and you guys have to do your part too. You knew this before voting for me so don't be surprised. As for what you guys want to fix in the guild, that will be brought up in another thread.
So thats my introductory thread. I missed some stuff but these were the most important things that I could think of. As for Nymphie and Meru, I heart you guys and think either of you would make awesome captains, Nymphie for sure since she was one herself 2 captains ago.
Anyway, thanks to you guys for electing me captain! heart
P.S. If the subforums stay as dead as they are, they are getting silly names that will randomly change until there is activity. You'll see. ninja

Congrats Insom!!! whee Its actually a really good thing you won, bc if I won I would be in dictator mode already XD And I know you'll do great, half the time you practically run the guild anyways and you've always done an awesome job smile
I'll try to post more in here! Maybe when I'm home for Christmas break I'll run an event or something. I like event running.
