Hello there. Welcome to Illinue Region. My name is Professor Toriki and I am a member of the Pokemon Association Committee. My job is to guide you through the world of Pokemon, step by step, toward glory. Oh dear, let's not waste time anymore. Come with me.
PostPosted: Sun Nov 14, 2010 2:02 pm

This is the map of Illinue Region. Your job as a Trainer is to conquer all 5 Gyms of the league. The Gyms are located in Durem City, Sacuru Town, Barton Town, Isle de Gambino, and Aekea City. Each Gym has their own element (as so the original games). List will be provide in the next few posts.

Lumin Town

This is where every trainer start off at, and also where the Pokemon Labs are in. You will get your first Pokemon at Professor Pimp's (emorexic-pimp) laboratory as well as a few tips to how to get started. After you have obtained your starter Pokemon, please walk over to Professor Spine's (darkspineshadow2) laboratory to read the proper instruction on how to start your adventure. This is a MUST do procedure for every new trainer.

As you might have notice, the main page of the guild is Lumin Town. This main forum will act as an Announcement Forum. You may NOT create any new topic in this forum. There are appropriate sub-forums where you can post in. If you have any question to where you should place your thread in, please visit the Q&A sub-forum of the guild for help.

Barton Town

Sweet Barton Town, although the closest to your home town, is the home of the 3rd badge. Unless you have already obtained badges from Durem City and Sucuru Town, you can not challenge this Gym's leader.

Leader:
Type: Electric
Badge: Folium
Pokemon Lv:

In the future, several events will be host in Barton Town. As Barton Town is deemed the care-free and happy-go-round town, all festivals will be host there.

Bass'ken Lake

Filled with absolute nothing but water-type Pokemon. Although this area might sounds like a good place to place a Water-type Gym, Bass'ken Lake is nothing but a lake! No one live there! A perfect place to go fish for..... fish Pokemon.

In future, all aquarium-relate events will be host at Bass'ken Lake. This include Booty Grab, fishing, or race to see who'll catch the most fish in the shortest amount of time.

Durem City

Burn city, burn!!! Durem is most busy city of the entire region! Because it is located in the middle of the region, almost all Trainers must pass through it in order to get to the other cities. Of all the cities and towns, Durem had been known for it quick development and fashion (not to mention most of the rare items originated from Durem). Now, don't let the popularity of human-relate items fooled you! Durem City is also well known for its hot-head and burning passion of Pokemon Battles! Its leader is no doubt one of the hottest and with a temper person you've ever met! Unless you can take the heat, we advise you to stay out! This is the first stop of all Trainers who wish to become the Pokemon Master (or at least, Champion.)

Leader:
Type: Fire
Badge: Feucrux
Pokemon Lv:

As hinted above, Durem City is where most items-award events will be hosted. After you have earned certain badges (or requirements occasionally), you will be given the opportunity to obtain passes/key items you can use in limited time events.

Pokemon Tower

At the top floor of the Pokemon Tower lies the Pokemon Association Office. This is where the committee's members gathered (aka crew members). We are here to answer all your questions relate to the guild, so don't hesitate to ask! Of course, you'll have to read our news and announcements posted on the appropriate threads, first.

The floors below that are for Trainers! Dedicate only to Trainers! You can trade your rpg-pokemon (the ones you use in this guild) with other users. Of course, there will be restrictions to what you can and can't trade. Be sure to read the rules ahead of time, Trainers!

Union Square

A huge friendship circle! Union Square allows you to interact with other Trainers who own Pokemon (DS) games! You can trade Friend Codes with other, propose a trade, ask for a battle, etc. As long as you kept all conversation to Nintendo Pokemon Games related, we don't really care what you're doing. Be careful though, any opinion and personal comment about the games (whether you like it or not) should go to the Pokemon Center - Chatter Box. The Union Square is for Pokemon-all-time-loving fans only.

Sacuru Town

Don't worry. Sacuru Town was NOT made up of herd of Exeggutor. xd You don't have to worry about getting lost or going around in circle. However, the ever-tall trees will intimidate you a little... just a little. One thing you should keep in mind though: Do not mistake Sacuru Town to be the same as Fortree City. Residences of Sacuru do NOT live on trees. In fact, they live INSIDE the trees. Like chipmunks. Hehheh.

Sacuru Town is famous for its ever-green nature, and the all-year-round fruits. Coconuts, to be exact. If you go deep into the forest enough, be sure to bring along with you a hard tub to catch them. You don't want to use your head as a tool to break open the coconuts. Hehheh.

With tour guide facts aside, there is a Gym built in Sacuru! The leader is well known as a nature-loving and carefree person. So if you want to be friend with him/her, just bring along a basket of fruits as a token of friendship. That will sure make him/her happy. Sacuru Gym is the second Gym you'll visit after you've beaten the leader of Durem City's Gym.

Type: Grass

Sacuru Zones

Uwaaaah!!! Sacuru Zones are the never-ending Pokemon mazes! Tons of Pokemon migrate to Sacuru Zones each month, it's unbelievable! Once in a while, you'll find rare Pokemon inhabit in small hidden areas as well! The Sacuru Wardens had drove themselves crazy building new areas and these little wild Pokemon. Don't mistake this for a Zoo, though. These Pokemon do bites if you make them mad. They'll attack as a group, not individual. So unless you have a strong team of Pokemon with you, don't be foolish to pick a fight with any of them.

Every month, the Sacuru Zone committee's members (the crew members, durrr~) will shift the Pokemon around. If the plans are accepted, we'll even open up new areas (sticky threads) with more Pokemon in them without taking off any Pokemon from the existed zones.

Isle de Gambino

*glub glub* I'm~ drowning~ H~ ..... Nah, just kidding! Isle de Gambino is not under the water, it's on top of the water! As its name stated, Gambino is an island. Needless to say, a tropical islands. Festivals are held every summer with water splash, etc. If you are a new visitor to the island, the committee members will throw water balloons at you (just kidding)!

Isle de Gambino is the home of the 4th Gym Badge. After you've obtained the Coco Badge from Sacuru City, you will earn a certificate (Surf) on your Trainer Card so you can swim or have your Pokemon carry you over to the Island to challenge the Gym leader! We recommend you take an enjoyable time to swim, though.

Aekea City

Aekea the mysterious city. The atmosphere in this area is very tense. The moment you step foot in this City, you can't help but feel a chill down your spine. You couldn't describe the feeling you are having, although it is very disturbing. Very little is known about the history of Aekea, and not many like to visit it either. But as a Trainer, you have no choice but to come to this final stop in order to get your final badge. After all, no trainer would want his or her effort in vain.

Shimmering Pass

Nope. You're not there yet! Mere Gym challenges aren't enough to make you the best of the best! If you want to prove yourself to be worthy to challenge the Elites and Champion, you've got to prove yourself you're the real deal! Clear this mountain and climb to the top! Beat all trainers and train your Pokemon! When you finally reach the end, you'll be very proud of your achievements.

Yes. There are threads made by crew members there. You'll have to defeat ALL of them and get their approval stamps in order to get pass the Shimmering Pass. Until you've gotten all the stamps, you are not to challenge the Elites or register for the Championship. In order to challenge the Elites, you'll have to give them your ID cards showing that you have been acknowledged by all the Trainers inside the Pass.

Pokemon League

Dun dun dun! Congratulation! You've finally done it! You've reach the plateau! Now, all you have to do is:

1) To train your Pokemon some more
2) Go back and capture Pokemon if challenging the league is not your thing.
3) Challenge other players for fun
4) Challenge the Elites and earn some gold (?)
5) Enter the Championship Tournament and win the trophy when you feel confident!

If you've done all options above, CONGRATULATION! You might be approach to be part of the crew. Who knows. That will depends on your maturity level.

(?): Reward at defeating each Elite will depends on the Elite member. If s/he wish to, they will reward you with a gold prize. It comes from their own pocket, so please do not complain no matter what the amount is. They are not obligate to give you anything.

Aurum Island

Gold gold gold! This is where you'll earn gold!!! ..... Just kidding, no, you don't earn gold in Aurum Island. All you'll earn is chances to obtain rare Pokemon such as legendaries, or rare Pokemon that have not been release as commons. Occasionally the Pkmn Asso. will hold contests that will give players a chance to earn gold and items, but that will be in faaaaarrr future.
