Hello everyone! How are you this splendid day? I am doing wonderfully. With the holidays coming up, I was wondering what everyone does around this time of year. One of my family's traditions is going up the mountain to cut down our own Christmas tree. We always take video of it too. It's fun getting our own Christmas tree. What kinds of things do you do? What are you favourite things / least favourite things this time of year? Let's talk the Holidays! biggrin

On the first night of Hannukah (which has long since passed) my family usually gathers at my older sister's apartment and we mumble through the prayers before stuffing ourselves to bursting with latkas with apple sauce. Then there's a mad-dash to the restroom and after presents and pleasantries we all go home again.

@Renkon Root, Happy Belated Hannukah!
As far as traditions go in my house, its go as far as church on the 24th and 25th. There use to be the Boxing Day Tradition, but since I work retail during the break I'm on the other end watching people shop and hate the holidays even more so.

@starbunnie, They can if you don't water them regularly. We've NEVER had an artificial tree, and nothing is like a real tree in your house, that 3 women cut down themselves. The smell is heavenly. biggrin
