Two figures approached Mami Goods' Switch nursery arm-in-arm, a tiny green-and-gold Switch flitting between them and around their heads. The jewel-like creature was actually excited to go off to daycare, parents while nervous, not about to break down in tears.

"The pamphlet said we could stay and play if we want," the smaller of the two parents said, her tail waving about as she looked up and smirked.

"Play? I can't say I know much about playing as kids would understand it..." As Melomar rolled her eyes and jabbed Aaron in the ribs, he chuckled and continued to, black wings fluttering as he walked by her side. "I'll be good, I promise. You know I will."

Mel eyed him suspiciously and finally nodded. "Okay. Be nice. Play nice. Child-friendly."

"Cross my heart."

Meanwhile, Zev wizzed around their heads, quick and acrobatic in-flight maneuvers (not to mention humming!) like a bejewelled hummingbird, indicating his happiness and excitement.

"Come here, Zev," Mel said, vastly softening her tone, smiling as the little Switch landed in her outstretched hands, palm-up. "I want you to sit still for a moment while we meet Mami Goods, all right? You remember her, I told you about her before we came..." She looked up and smiled at the aging woman. She looked about her own mother's age, perhaps five or ten years younger at most (she could never be sure, as she was bad at guessing). "Hello hello, I'm Melomar, this is Aaron, and little Zev Z'Namir..."

A young woman walked into the nursery with a flittering Switch beside her. It buzzed silently as his dual wings flitted. She looked around and gave a nod of a smile to Mami Goods. She then turned to the couple standing near a green switch and greeted in same.

"Hello, I'm Paetrisah and this little tyke is Ttian."

The Switch excitedly flew around the room, weaving between furnitures and people and then stopped abruptly in front of the Switch, but only for a second and flew right back to Paetrisah to hide beneath her hair. The young woman rolled her eyes and cupped the Switch to bring him back out, "He's a little shy at first, but once you get to know him... he's a handful."

Shy, but he is still a mischevious little Switch, Titan flits up and down excitedly and rushes towards the new arrival. Circling her with curiousity and interest.

Paetrisah watched from where she stood, wondering when her little Titan had gotten so outgoing. Maybe it was the appearance of a Switch so similar in coloring to his own? Or maybe it was just because he knew an elder when he saw one without actually knowing it... Whatever the reason, she wasn't sure if she were to expect trouble of joy.

The titanium Switch stopped as the other Switch moved away from his approach. He floated there for a second and then began to excitedly move up and down as if he was asking her to come play. He turned quickly towards the emerald switch and motioned in same. He waited there for a second and then flew back to Paetrisah, unsure if he would be rejected.

Paetrisah's eyes flew open in slight shock though she should have been expecting it from an elder Switch. She composed her self and smiled.

"Hello Platine. I'm Paetrisah. The titanium bobbing ball is my son, Titan." She turned her head towards Titan who was again hiding under her hair. He had been startled by Platine's speech. "Titan, say hello to Platine."

The Switch flitted further into the her hair so that he was curtained by Paetrisah's raven hair. The girl groaned and took a hold of the Switch.

"If you don't say hello then there will be no more bed time stories." the mother said sternly.

Titan made an audible buzzing sound with his wings which sounded like a whine and then slowly approached Platine. He bobbed up and down in greeting and spoke to her telepathically, from one Switch to another.

*Hello*

Then he swiftly returned to his mother, hiding behind her elbow.

"Did you say hello?" Paetrisah asked and the Switch nudged her arm in response.

Paetrisah smiled, "It is quite a difference from being the size of a golf ball to being the size of a human."

The titanium Switch remained at his mother's elbow as she conversed the strange Platine. He wasn't sure how to react, she had been a feathery winged silver ball of a Switch like him, but now she was giant like his mother.

The Switch moved further behind Paetrisah as Platine tried to interact with him. He knew she was Switch, in the small recess of his child-like mind, but he could not believe it. After all he was new to other Switches and was much along in his evolution.

Noticing that her son continued to hide from the elder Switch, Paetrisah did a cruel thing and moved aside towards Mami Goods and began to talk with the caretaker about how silly little boys could be, leaving Titan without a wall to divide him and Platine.
