I'm not sure about the time period, some Victorian time maybe 18-19th century? All I know is it's the classic time of pretty little girls with china dolls and rich houses with pianos and mirrors everywhere (all of which I have a strange affinity for). It all seemed a little like something out of a doll house and even reminded me a little of Silent Hill at some point. I've had some pretty vague dreams and tons of Deja-vu to suggest that something's going on.
There's also a song on youtube, a music box. I've always adored music boxes and their hypnotic melodies, but this one almost creeps me out. I can't find it anywhere else on the internet, nobody I've asked knows the name of the song or where it might be from, so far only me and my mother seem to have heard it before. Its tune is simple but haunting and always triggers that feeling of familiarity (is that a word?) and reminds me of all this. I'm wondering if it's somehow connected.

And about my family history, I know very very little. I keep reminding my mum and gran that I want to find out more about it, but they always say "Oh, I'm sure [insert family member name] has some documents about it." and then they forget to help me find anything. I'd considered trying to find out myself, but being an almost 16 year old girl who's easily confused and has no immediate access to such information, it's probably pointless.
Should I try finding out for myself? Or should I even bother going to the town gypsy (there seriously is one, she's good!) and ask her?
