Twenty-two years ago, an organization known as Calvary began to thrive in its scientific research. Unfortunately for them, test subjects began to get few and far between, as some projects were deemed unsuitable for human life. Eventually, animal rights groups also blockaded their efforts for testing as well. Calvary's leaders became desperate, and formulated a plan.

Several undercover doctors were hired to inject mothers in labor with a chemical that would induce a serious seizure, resulting in the mothers' deaths. The seizures would then be blamed on eclampsia. Though these "accidental deaths" occurred a little too close together, and each were almost exactly the same as the last, the detectives put on the cases were "put on Calvary's payroll", and they eventually all turned into unsolved cold cases.

The babies were eventually put up for adoption, either by choice of the single-parent father, or by force. The children's fathers would "disappear", and once more, the detectives involved were put on Calvary's payroll.

Over the next few years, the babies were adopted by agents of Calvary, and given to the organization. Each was submitted to different series of tests, most of them being injections of various animal DNA in order to create super-steroids.

Many subjects died during the experiments, due to exhaustion through training and testing, or by attempting escape. Those that managed to get out usually didn't last too long. They had no identification, no home, and many were so deformed, that nobody would take them in. Very few did manage to escape and thrive, though not in the best of conditions.

The rest have stayed at Calvary, either by choice or by force. The ones that stayed by choice are currently employed as guardsmen, and those that stay by force are used as slaves to the soldiers and heads of Calvary.

Twenty-two years later, everyone is growing up, some faster than others. Several have come, several have gone....

And this is their story.

1. This is a LITERATE RP!!! What does this mean? It means that you must use correct grammar and spelling to the best of your ability. (If you can't spell supercalafragalisticexpialidocious the first time around, I'm not going to blacklist you.)

2. No god-modding.
2a. You may not kill another character, unless it is your own, or the owner gives you permission. I'd rather they contact me to tell me this, or say it in an Out-Of-Character post. Call me crazy *crowd yells CRAZY!*, but I like to see proof that someone wants their character off'd before I let it happen.
2b. You may talk/act for another character, but keep it VERY limited, unless you know EXACTLY how the character would react. Again, I'd enjoy a note from the character's owner in an OOC post.
2c. No sudden god-like powers. If your weak-as-a-kitten player suddenly decides to a-splode themselves, we'd kindly like an explaination. Exceptions include experimental side-effects, such as transformations. THESE MUST BE STATED IN YOUR ORIGINAL character descriptions! No power changes later in the story! If you can't find your way out, you are SCREWED until someone helps you! End of story. domokun
2d. Game masters will approve any powers given to characters. If we think your power to blow up the world with a snap of your fingers won't work, then it just won't work. :-p We also reserve the right to refuse to use your character.

3. You must submit a character description and example of your RPing skills, preferably using the example in the first submission in the Characters section. You may use your character's backstory as your RPing literacy skills example.
3a. DO NOT PUT THESE INTO THE RP!!! Please PM me your character details.
3b. Please, no copyrighted characters. I would love to make this an original RP. So no freakin' Narutos. ^_^;;
3c. If you would like to submit a picture of your character, I would heart to include it.

4. Keep it PG-13 and to GaiaOnline.com's TOS. This means no sex scenes, no cybering, no nudie pics... Etc... Just keep in mind I don't want this thing shut down for some dummy deciding they're gonna shake things up a bit by making this rated R. I don't mind F-bombs or anything... Just don't violate the TOS.

5. No harassment. Do not harass other members of the RP, either inside or outside of this forum. However, if your character harasses the other character *NOT the character's creator*, and it's in their nature to do so, then okay. It's a role play after all.

6. If there are any discrepancies on whether or not a character should be dealt a blow, a series of dice-throwing contests will ensue. :-3
