I chose Imperio because I feel like I have the best chance surviving it and possibly fighting it off. I can also blame the imperio on whatever bad thing I may have done... then get mind healing to counteract any trauma.
I wouldn't want to be killed, and I don't like being in pain.... I like causing pain.
