OKAY!
There has been a couple of questions sent to me, and there has been an offender.... *cough-cough-BATMAN-cough*. I'm going to write the specific rules for posting your RP HERE, okay?
1. You need to spell everything correctly. You have the internet. Look it up on there. Or a Dictionary. Something.
2. You need to have correct punctuation. Run-on sentences are difficult to read.
3. When you are posting as your character(s), you need to put what they're saying in QUOTES! Put their actions in ASTERISKS!
4. If you need to say something out of character on the RP board, then you put it in DOUBLE PARENTHESES.
5. When you're describing a place or scenario, put this symbol (~) in front and behind the description. It causes less confusion with out of character sentences.
6. Coloring your text and adding pictures is purely optional. Do it if you want to. 3nodding
7. I'm not going to kill you for a few mistakes here and there, BUT if it becomes a regular thing, then I'm gonna have to ban you from the guild.
EX.
~The city was nice and quiet, and the majority of the population was asleep. There were some police making their nightly rounds, and one officer was making his rounds at the museum, inspecting the rare sapphire that the museum had just purchased. He finished his rounds and proceeded onward. The sapphire was in a glass case and above the display was a glass ceiling for the sapphire to shine brightly during the sunny days. Nothing in the dark, quiet room was out of place except a circle cut out from the ceiling above the room.~
"HAAAHHHH!" Hawkgirl screeched. *Shayera swung her mace everywhere, knocking out bad guys all over* ((Hey guys, I've gotta go to school, talk to you later.))
I hope this clears up ANY confusion over what I expect. Post or PM any other questions you have.
-Kaitlin

((My apologies guys, being the worst offender I shall take extra actions when I post. I will now type everything in Word and have it spell and grammar checked. I will also go back through my posts and have them spell and grammar checked. )) *as Batman* "I won't let it happen again."

Thanks guys. I know that being in this guild is a privilege, not a right. I'll make sure I keep it up.

((I'm glad I read this before I started role playing. I'm good at spelling but I can drag sentences on and not put any symbols where they need to be. I hope to have a lot of fun here smile . ))

Only on the RP boards.

I have a suggestion when it comes to narrating if it will help, I was thinking if you're describing a landscape scenario maybe you could put a ~ before and after your description so an example would be
~The city was nice and quiet and the majority of the population was asleep. There were some police making their nightly rounds, one police officer was checking making his rounds at the museum inspecting the rare sapphire that the museum had just purchased he finished his rounds and proceeded onward. The sapphire was in a glass case and above the display was a glass ceiling for the sapphire to shine brightly during the sunny days.Nothing in the dark, quiet room out of place except a circle cut out from the ceiling above the sapphire.~
You could then resume in the normal fashion,it's just an idea so we don't confuse when people are talking out of character or any action scenarios like fights.

Apparently the ALL CAPS title didn’t have anyone check it out so I’m going to ask the guild heads and Crew for permission to run through the guild this ONCE with my Microsoft Word processor to spell check everything Quote if you give permission.

OK I've just spell checked EVERY post in the Gotham mint forum. Let's try to keep it grammatically correct in the future, alright?
