Since most of the threads I've visited have all been about new games (which is a pretty normal thing, to talk about what's new) I figured I would make a thread about the old classic games. Some of my oldest memories are of playing Duck Hunter and Mario Bros. on the original NES. I personally grew up on Nintendo and I still play my 64. Mostly Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 64, but I also still have Kirby 64, Mario Tennis and Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time, and sometimes I whip those out for nostalgia. I even still have Pokemon Snap XD what a ridiculous game that was.
There's a video rental store in the small town we live in that rents 64 games and they have all the classics that I used to have and don't anymore, that we enjoy renting sometimes: Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Quake and Quake II, Pokemon Stadium and Pokemon Stadium 2, Paper Mario, Mario Party 2, Golden Eye, Starfox...the list goes on. My Nintendo 64 has outlasted my Gamecube and my Playstation 2. It's a shame they crapped out because Antony has copies of Final Fantasy VII and VIII that I've been itching to play again. Not to mention my Silent Hill games, Guitar Hero and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
What games do you guys remember/miss from childhood? (By the way, I hope I don't sound like a hipster/scene kid because I'm going on about the "old school" games I play...I would play new games but I'm way too poor to buy a gaming console and a bunch of games and accessories.)
