   I've played Pokemon Black in Japanese. And even though I couldn't exactly understand the plotline or what anyone was saying to me, I still enjoyed it a lot. Unova has become my favorite region. It is different than other games, but in a good way.
Somehow I have a feeling the English version I'll enjoy even more... Because then I can understand the text. xd

I sort of want to get Black because I like some of the new pokemon like Lilligant. Not many catch my eye but some are cool. And hey, can you play a Japanese game on an English DS? I remember reading somewhere that you can only play English games on an English console but I'm not sure if that rule also applies to a DS.

AlexusDislexic well now you can have jap. pokes in the english one lol. i look forward to playing with you I was planning to breed Snivy on my Japanese Black and transfer it over to White just so I could use Snivy and Oshawott… But I don’t know if it’s worth the effort just to figure out how to trade in Japanese. So say you have a DSi from Japan, you can only play games from Japan. But if you have a DS Lite, you can play all games in all languages. I have a DS Lite and a DSi, Pokemon Black only works on the DS Lite. The DSi won’t even see the game card. DS cards from different regions have different codies. So I guess it all depends on the counsel you’re trying to use.

Shiny pokemon? Some are so cool looking! I really like the way a shiny Caterpie looks. I can cheat to get shiny pokemon but I caught one while I was training my Shinx. Lucky~ But I learned from Serebii that Lilligant and Petilil are only in White so I'll probably get that instead.

I think if you love the game it's worth it. I didn't even know there was a jap. verison til a month ago tho. I paid $50 for a game on playstation just because it was the first silent hill. I'm obessed with that game :3 i have all of them but the 4th one but i will get it for my bday on the 22nd :3 i'm not into drugs drinking smoking or partying so my vice is games 4laugh

BriannaBumblebee Seen the show yet? I actually sort of like it. Though I dislike some of the changes that have been made. I woke up early just to watch it. I really love it. After the last two regions were pretty bad, I'm glad I like Unova as much as I do. I actually like all of the changes. I like how the attacks are more clear, like the way they redid Iron Tail. I also really like Iris. She's always been a favorite since I heard of it, and I'm so glad they didn't ruin her character with an annoying voice. Dawn and May's voices were just terrible, I was sort of scared they'd give her a bad voice too.
The only thing I wasn't fond of was Snivy's voice. I expected something cuter for it. Cute like Oshawott and Tepig's voices. I'm sure I'll adjust to that though.

Speaking of Snivy I really hate the way they pronouce it. When I heard it I was like "... UGH!" I like the way I pronouce it better but it is their show... I'll still call it what I call it. But I still think it's pretty good. I'll make sure to watch it. I like the way Snivy is stuck up. I want him as my starter if I get White.

Snivy's personality is one of the things that makes it awesome. wink He was my starter in Black, and I'll choose him again in the English Black as well as getting one in White... Even though I'll choose Oshawott as my starter in White. Snivy is very useful, he's pretty strong. Although he doesn't learn a lot of stat-boosting moves, but I guess that's what TMs are for.
