Erin leapt down from the ledge. She had been in the ruins with Stunky. Exaclty where her mom had told her never to go, but that was a long tme ago. Right? Now she had Stunky to protect her of a wild pokemon decided to fight. She dodged between two trees and ran inside grabbing some bread from the table. "Dinner's almost ready"
"Okay" She stuffed a piece of bread in her mouth. Erin was almost always hungry. Stunk begged beside her and she slipped the pokemon another before ditching out the door again. Leaving her mother alone cooking the stew. It was no wonder she was always hungry as she raced over to the Pokemon Daycare and leaned over the fence admiring other trainers Pokemon playing together.
The stranger walked into the town without much presence. The only living thing to acknowledge his existence was the grass flattening under his feet. It didn't worry him as he took in the area and went into the daycare. He had been here once before a few days earlier to leave his single Pokemon in the center. He was greeted by an old man with a hospitable smile. "Are you here to retrieve your Kabuto? He looked lonely for a bit but he seems to have come out of his shell. So to speak" Chad nodded standing still as the man disappeared into the yard returning with the small brown Pokemon latched onto his arm. 
Erin was aghast and frozen as she stared at her mother who had just said the unimaginable. Her face switched instantly as she grinned and hugged her mom almost knocking her over as she wrapped her arms around her stomach.
