Are and Snivy took a look around the town. They didn't see much that interested them. A building here, some bushes outside the town, and much to Are's infuriation, the gym had been closed down.
"Well... this certainly was a waste of time... But no matter! I made a friend on the way!" A Pidgey had flown and landed on his shoulder, and he playfully scratched it's breast area with his finger. "You'll be my new friend." Snivy rolled it's eyes as it sat in the tall grass and began to munch.

Jinyx glanced around her surroundings from her roof. Smiling to herself she jumped down from the low roof,Roxy jumping on her head.
"Hey!" Jinyx growled fixing her hat back, glaring at Roxy who smirked with amusement,"I swear you act like you're smarter than me..." Roxy gave her a smile. "Well, we should go see Blue, IF he's there...I doubt it.." she slowly made her way towards the gym.

Are sat down next to the Gym door. "Maybe he's out to lunch or something..." He said to himself. He kept an eye on Snivy who was content with his snack. "Glad to see getting out is doing him good. A few hours ago, that might have been ice cream." He chuckled, then crossed his arms and rested his head against the wall. "I hope the leader shows up soon..."

Roxy's ears suddenly perked up in alert. Growling she jumped off of Jinyx's shoulder and bolted towards the gym. Jinyx quickly trying to keep up with her pokemon.
"Hey! Roxy wait up!!" Jinyx cried running faster. Before she got there Roxy was growling and in battle stance but at something...or someone.

Are looked over to see the fashionable Pokemon staring at him.
"well now," he said with a cheerful inflection, "you're a spunky little Pikachu, aren't ya? How cute!" He waved at Roxy, but it didn't seem to be as friendly. He glanced up at the girl running towards him. "Hey, is this your Pikachu? I don't think it likes me..."

"Oh my gosh...I am soooo sorry.."Jinyx huffed waving her hands in the air, picking up Roxy,"Roxy doesn't mean any harm..right?" she looked at her pikachu who narrowed her eyes at Jinyx. "Uhm...are you guys looking for the gym leader?"
Roxy scoffed jumping from her owners arms and wandered off into the tall grass.

Are stretched out and let out a long yawn. "Naw. We just came here from Lavender. I don't really need to battle the gym leader. I just expected Viridian to be a little more worth while. Is there anything exciting around here."
Meanwhile in the grass, Snivy walked over to Roxy. "Hey," he whispered in their language. "Wanna slip away from the humans and go play Gameboy?" Snivy took the GBA out of his tiny backpack and winked at Roxy.

Roxy rolled her eys playfully,"Sure,what games you got?" looking over from Snivy's shoulder.
"Hm....well there's Viridian Forest....and some other things...but not much.."Jinyx smiled sheeplishly,"But there is a training place somewhere here...just forgot the name of it...but its pretty fun."

Are stood up and stretched. He was a little taller than her. He smiled. "Sure, that could be fun."
Snivy passed the GBA to Roxy. "Well right now I'm playing this side scrolling game that involves jumping on strange enemies. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but it's a good pastime. Try it out."

"Okay! Guess me and Roxy'll join in as well...speaking of which where is Roxy.." Jinyx glanced around the surroundings before shrugging,
"Jumping on enemies? AWESOME!!" Roxy jumped gleefully as she jumped on the enemies in the game,"I remember stealing my trainer's Mario Galaxy game and that was the epiciness game evea!! HAHAHA!!"

Snivy hovered over Roxy's shoulder. "Ahh, I wish we had a Wii. That'd be fun. But... most of our days are spent training or exorcising."
"There she is over there!" Are pointed over to the two pokemon playing GBA. He chuckled and whispered in Jinyx's ear. "Looks like they're getting along nicely." He smiled then walked over to the duo. "Snivy, we're gonna go to a training area with these two. It'll be fun!" He pointed to Roxy and Jinyx, then walked back over. "I'm Arekusu," he reached his hand out towards Jinyx. "And you are?"

"Jinyx.Jinyx Winchester." Jinyx smiled shaking Are's hand.
"No~!! I just got to the next level~!!"Roxy banged her head onto a tree nearby,"Why~!?-Hey is that a shiney rock?"
"Hehe...Roxy's just being weird..haha"Jinyx giggled,Roxy glared at her with fire in her eyes.
"I'm being weird!? Grrrr~!!!!-Oh to heck with it,I'll get Jinyx back one way or another....and get her to give me her wii~!! WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Roxy cackled.Jinyx sweat dropped as Roxy started laughing evily. She glanced at Are smiling sheepishly.
"I honestly have no idea what she's talking about..."

"Considering all I here is 'Pika Pika'... hehe" Are chuckled awkwardly,then scratched the back of his head. So, um... nice to meet you, Jinyx. Would you like to head to the training area now?" Are gave her a smile, when Snivy climbed up on his shoulder. Are started to stroke his head. "Awww, hey buddy!!"
Snivy snorted, then looked at Roxy. "I hope he doesn't get too comfortable... I'm just up here cuz I don't wanna walk." He winked at Roxy, then patted his backpack. "Don't worry... I quicksaved. We'll keep playing later."

"Omg you are so awesome~!!! SWEET!!" Roxy twirled,before turning to her trainer,"HEY YOU!!"
"Sure! Hey,Roxy ready to go?" Jinyx smiled bending down,"I promised that we'll get Blue back if you do this~" she pulled out her puppy dog eyes. Roxy just rolled her eyes,jumping on to her trainer's head.
"Whatever, as long as I get my revenge I'm happy. AND taking out my anger on other pokemons? This must be a dream~!!"
"Glad you're on board Roxy~!!" Jinyx smiled,"To the training place~!!" and with taht she started her way towards the training ground.

Are stared at the two, puzzled. "For a second there, it seemed as if she understood that..." He shook his head and signaled Snivy up on his shoulder. Snivy rolled his eyes and strolled next to him.
Are ran to catch up with his new friends. "So um... hey..." Are scratched the back of his neck and spoke with a nervous tone. "Would you uh... wanna battle?" He didn't know why he was so nervous. Maybe it was meeting a new person. But, she was awfully cute...
