Tomorrow I'm going into my class on New Religious Movements with some questions for a guest speaker, Dr. Gus diZerega, who is the author of a book called "Pagans & Christians: The Personal Spiritual Experience" which was published by Llewellyn.
According to the back cover of his book, he "holds a Ph.D. in Political Theory. He is also a Third Degree Gardnerian Elder, and studied six years with Brazilian shaman Antonio Costa e Silva. His numerous articles have appeared in both scholarly and spiritual publications".
What I have read in the book so far [the first 50 pages, what I have to have read by then, basically] is an overview of the differences between the Pagan mode of spirituality and the Christian mode.
Anyway, I was curious to see what any of you would ask this person if you were offered the chance. I believe I'm going to be asking him questions related to his opinions on the publisher of his book, eclectic and/or commercialized neopaganism, and a specific question about one of his assertions about Pagan spirituality in his book related to pantheism/panentheism.
