Reason for joining this squad: The fact that this squad holds a reputation for defining law enforcement is something I believe will suit my character well. When you read my profile, you will understand how they match perfectly.
Position you currently hold: Soldier (But have been unassigned)
Position you request: Soldier - Quite frankly, I'll accept any position that is given to me. However, due to the fact that you and the council have decided that I start as a soldier, I must abide by their decision. On a personal opinion, I believe starting out as a soldier is only fitting for me. Skipping ranks is something I consider cheap and unworthy of obtaining unless earned.
A role play sample: ~A series of footsteps begin to fill the quiet atmosphere of the squad six barracks. The footsteps were slow, but felt stern, giving a moderately loud metal clinking sound. The sounds of the footsteps became louder as they made their way to where Captain Hisoka was sitting within the interviewing room for squad applicants. For only a moment, a shadow began to form behind the paper entrance door of the room. The figure held no particular disturbing shape of himself as a shadow, yet his presence, on the other hand, held a dark and intimidating feeling.~

~Slowly, but surely, the paper door slid open as the figure revealed himself. From the lower bottom up to the hip, the figure wore an average Hakama like any other Soul Reaper. His footwear, however, was not worn with Tobi socks or straw sandals but rather a pair of metal shoes. His upper torso was not worn with a kimono but instead a dark metal armor. His arms were sleeveless, yet wrapped in black bandages to hide his skin appearance. As the view had risen up to show this anonymous' face, it was covered by a strange mask. One that hid everything but one single eye to his left face. This eye held absolutely no emotion, no expression...and no life in it.~

~It was the kind of look that contained emptiness inside him, yet somehow gave out a dark consuming vibe around him. It was as if all attempt to ever try and read this man was virtually impossible due to how lifeless and empty his eye appeared to be. His serene eye looked down to the ground at first but then raised it to look toward Captain Hisoka. "My name is Zalian..." he said as he introduced himself in a soft, yet darkly stern tone. "I am here to apply for this squad." And so he removed his metal shoes and entered the room. Like any other Shinigami, he wore tobi socks (but black instead) under those heavy metal shoes. Slowly, he bent down and sat on both his knees as he now faced Hisoka with his dark and serene eye.~
