 Val'gun opens a garganta to the monumental event known as Yankee stadium hosting a baseball game between the ultimate rivals in baseball history, Red sox vs the Yankees. Val'gun thought it was a perfect place for a battle between a rival of his own too have segregated differences, but both hoping to settle these differences in a battle with all their strength determining who is the strongest race. Arrancar or Shinigami........

 Jugai opens up a Garganta and looks down to see he is in New york during the the final of the world series. He sees that Derek Jeter made a home run on the bottom and saw the ball heading towards him. Jugai caught the ball and when he looked around he saw a strange person in he sky with him. "Who are you, and what are you doing here."

"hmph so you finally came..took you long enough." Said Val'gun with a smirk on his face showing that he was eager for a fight. "So what took you so long if may ask ? It is not like you have something better to do either than fighting haha." Said Val'gun with no serious tone what so ever, just having a smille on his face as if nothing was wrong in life.

Jugai with the ball in his hand looked at the strange person calling out to him. ".........." Jugai just stood there saying nothing to him. He started to walk down the air stairs down towards Yankee stadium for a closer view. He completely ignored the visitor since he didn't answer his question.

" Hey you do know its rude to ignore a fellow team member right like come on." Said Val'gun with a frustrated look in his face and having a pulse near his forehead showing the blood flowing through his brain. Val'gun walked closer to the visitor that appeared to be watching the game instead of noticing Val'gun. "Fine well mine name is Val'gun, the first arrancar of squad 8 and I hear by declare you as my opponent!" Screamed Val'gun with a proud look in his face finally finding someone to fight.

With no expression in his Jugai looked and faced Val'gun. " I'm Lieutenant of squad 8, Jugai Ichizo. I didn't answer you cause you didn't answer me at first." Jugai turned his head down to look at the ball in his hand and asked Val'gun, "Do you like baseball....." The moment Jugai finished talking he threw the ball with intense force at Val'gun. The moment he threw it he ran with the ball with a punch to Val'gun's stomach.

Val'gun suddenly noticed Jugai and the baseball heading straight at him, but than was sidetracked when he noticed a flock of birds flying below him. He always loved the feeling of flying in the sky which made this moment special while watching those birds fly freely. ,He than started to walk down as if there were stairs on the air and went closer to the flock of birds flying around the stadium, totally ignoring the fact that Jugai was about to strike him, but paid no mind.

Jugai rushing at Val'gun he noticed Val'gun didn't even bother to dodge. Jugai just stopped his fist in front of Val'gun's face since he didn't even bother to dodge. "What's the big idea , Why didn't you dodge my fist." Jugai looked at Val'gun and waited for his response.

Val'gun smiled while looking at the sky than looked towards Jugai than suddenly used sonido to get in back of Jugai and said " Less talk and more fight!" He screamed. Val'gun than took out his sword and grabbed the blade instead of the hilt and swung it straight towards the left side of Jugai's rib cage going at an immense speed that if it were to hit it would fracture his entire left side of his rib cage.

Jugai smirked from what Val'gun was trying to pull "You really think that would work against me." Jugai turned his body 90 degrees to the left and with that drew his blade with his left hand, he did a horizontal slash to block the swing. He shunpoed forward a few feet to gain some distance between them both. Jugai re-sheathed his blade and gave a cold glare at Val'gun. "You're going to have to try better than that to defeat me."

" Hey who said anything about defeating you? I just wanted to see what would you do that's all. Don't worry i do not plan on defeating you...yet." Thinking Val'gun the last few words he said to himself, while having a smile on his face as if he meant no harm to anybody. Val'gun than put back his Katana in its sheathed than sonido right in front of Jugai than charged balas in both of his hands hurdling his left arm at Jugai's knee cap, so than he can fracture it and enable JuguaI from running.

"You think your a match against me." Jugai commented with that glare in his eyes. The moment Val'gun sonidoed in front of him Jugai back flipped while shunpoing at the same time. It looked like clones of Jugai appearing on there hands and feets doing back flips. Doing this made Jugai avoid the balas Val'gun shot. The moment Jugai landed on his feet, he let himself fall from there the air almost all the way down to yankee stadium. "Cmon you're going to have to catch me, if you want to hit me."

Val'gun used sonido to be in the same elevation where Jugai was at but he was not close to him, Jugai was at least three feet away from him. Val'gun was thinking and had an idea. "Then bring it on!!!." Screamed Val'gun feleling rage and excitement than charged his Bala in his right hand, making it get bigger than a regular bala .

By the way Val'gun was charging his bala he had a feeling what he needed to do. "Fine if thats how you want to play, bring it." Jugai lifted his left hand in his face and charged up reiatsu. While charging he recited "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Inferno and pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, march on to the south! Hado # 31 Shakkaho." From his hand a red ball appeared from Jugai's hand and as it was floating there he spoke to Val'gun. "Come show me which of us is stronger."
