Ok I posted this in the forums before if you didn't see it, but I thought you guys would have a better explanation of this. You know how Peter denied knowing Jesus three times? Well, I was wondering why he did that. My sister says it was because he was scared that if he said yes, he would be killed as well. I thought it was because he didn't want Jesus to get into anymore trouble than he already was. I thought he was concerned that if he said yes, they would ask him additional information that could be used against Jesus. Who's right? Me? My sister? Both of us? Thanks for your help!

Walking under my umbrella alone...
What I have made out of this story is, Peter lied because he was a little ashamed of Jesus and he didn't want to be executed for being a follower of him. I don't know what others think, that is just my imput. Anyways, they didn't really need extra info about Jesus, they knew they were going to kill him anyways.
