Dakota sat on a grassy part of the cliff, out looking the sea. He'd spent the last day walking down memory lane, he was finishing it off with the place in his life he loved best, meeting Calliay. He'd already visited the icecream shop he used to always go to with Sai, the house so many of them lived in during The Mission to the world of the Living, the location him and Redd first fought, he went absolutely everywhere a good memory lay. Dakota sighed and thought, "I'm glad I can leave with no regrets. I had a good sister, the best wife, a son to be proud of, been offered the head Captain position, and even tried to be forced to go to Squad Zero... then I can spend the last few milenia of my life in the town I learned more than eating and carnage as a Hollow." Dakota thought as he slowly watched the sun set going towards the ocean. He begun to think of the tiny town, almost absent of death. It was a good place, remote too. Dakota has a peaceful and content look on his face.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Walking up a grassy hill he sensed out Dakota. Lucky for him he they were both vizards. Volt had to get a chance to talk to Dakota one more time before he left. Walking over the top of the hill he saw a man sitting on the ground near the edge of the cliff looking out. He knew this was Dakota. Walking towards him he yelled out. "Dakota!" Picking his walk up into a jog he quickly reached Dakota in no time.
"...but on how happy others can be because of you."

Dakota didn't look over to Voltarion, he just motioned his hand to sit next to him. "Come, watch the sunset with me. Appearing you've found me, the hollowfication process worked." Dakota said in an almost monotonical way. This was probably the most peaceful Dakota's ever been. He was now though, wondering Voltarion's reasons to find him. He didn't know he'd become a Captain recently, so he was curious.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Sitting down next to him he looked out over the water watching the sun glisten off it. Letting out a sigh he glanced over at Dakota. "I Found your letter and Captain haori." He spoke as if it was a normal day occurrence. "I take it your really leaving?" Volt spoke with a slight question behind his voice although he already knew the answer to that question. Dakota was leaving and for good.
"...but on how happy others can be because of you."

Dakota sighed and stared out into the ocean a little more, his eyes glistened the same way the water near the sun did. The sun was midway into the war, Dakota would leave when it had finally dipped below the surface. "Unfortunately, I'd have to leave either way. I was recruited to Squad Zero, and I would still have to leave the Seireitei. I don't intend to join Squad Zero, so I'm going back to the place I first called home to live out my years." Dakota said with his haze unwavering.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Nodding his head slightly he watched the sky asthe colors swirled in oranges and reds. "I see. So you kind of have no choice then but to leave. Well, You can let one thing rest easier on your mind. I`m captain of squad Ten now." Leaning back on his hands he looked up and watched a particular group of clouds swirl until they looked a color fire. Letting a smirk cross onto his face he was glad that he got to see his old mentor before he left.

Dakota grinned closing his eyes for a moment contently. He was glad with that information, he hadn't much thought of his squad thinking they'd get on fine. "Here I was thinking they'd put and idiot in my seat, and they picked the best one of the lot.". He laughed happily rubbing Voltarion's head. The laughter soon died, and Dakota stood up next to Voltarion sideways to the end of the cliff. A gentle sea breeze blew his hair and clothing as his eyes fixed on the now waning sun.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Laughing with Dakota as he ruffled Volt`s hair watching him stand up and stand off near the edge of the cliff he stood up as well. "Out of all places why did you come here if i may ask?" This place was amazing but he didn't see any connection between Dakota and this town. Looking out over the ocean he watched it wash up onto the beach and then go back out to sea over and over again never stopping. "Best one of the bunch huh?" Volt smiled at the second complement he had ever gotten from Dakota. Letting his mind circle that thought and the other one he had gotten.
"...but on how happy others can be because of you."

Dakota kept smiling watching the sunset ever more. "It's quite simple, it's where my relationship with Calliay truly started. Way back when..." Dakota said placing both hands in his pocket. He breathed deeply through his nose, taking in all the breeze of ocean smelling the salt. It brought a pleasant wave of nostalgia. "Shame this is goodbye though..." Dakota said as he looked into a pocket watch with a picture of his family and the time on the other, 7:03 it said. "Voltarion, I've written a letter of recommendation. Seeing all squads except five is filled, he'll probably be put there. I've subtly made him a vizard by only implanting a seed, he doesn't know it though, nor do I want you to tell him. Reasoning you found me, I want you to watch him." Dakota said as his last order to a member of the Seireitei.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Smiling as he said his response he watched him pull out a pocket watch and listened to him. Hearing about the unaware vizard to be he nodded and responded. "Yes sir. Ill watch him and his progress may I ask is there any time I am to tell him or do we wait until the seed fulfills itself and shows itself to him as being vizard?" He wanted to know so he could be aware of his task he was entrusted to do whether it was going to be jsut to watch over or to eventually help him along his path.

"He'll find out on his own, one way or another. It's your job to keep people around him safe when he does." Dakota said to Voltarion watching the sun set below the water line. "It's been good seeing you Voltarion, but time will not wait for you and I. Good bye and tell no one I was here or where I am going." Dakota said to Voltarion giving him one last long look. Dakota traced his finger over an imgainary line and like unzipping a bag, the space opened into a garganta. Before he did though, he took out his zanpakuto and stabbed it into the ground, both making his mark and claiming it. He flowed just a bit of electricity into it, so with it's already heavy weight, it had static keeping it in place. Since he was a shinigami, no human would ever see it and at most, maybe and accidental cut every now and again. Dakota waved good bye to Krono, and disappeared forever from the sights of the Soul Society only to be known once again in his home town. When he died, since a shinigami does not leave a body behind, this sword would serve as his funeral marking.

"The beauty of life doesn't depend on how happy are you..."
~::~ Voltarion ~::~ Nodding Volt watched Dakota leave for the last time. Watching the ancient vizard stab his blade into the ground leave Volt smiled. He would never let anyone know of his last moment with the old vizard. Letting out a sigh Voltarion walked up to the blade and took out his own carving a simple D F into a stone and placing it at the base of the sword. Stepping back he let out a sigh and turned walking away leaving this place behind.
