~Far off, into the outskirt land of the unknown, lied mysterious pillars and architectural structures, resembling an ancient and abandoned small town. By how damaged it appeared, it was obvious to assume hollows once attacked this place and made it a nesting ground. Though most likely that was long ago and is now once again left behind to crumble away. In the far distant hill, from this abandoned ruin, was a tall masked man wearing dark armor, a black hakama, and long black bandages wrapped around all over his arms from the shoulders down. His mask covered everything but one single left eye.~
~This man's eye held no emotion, no feeling, no pain, no contentment...and no life. It was the kind of look in his eye that held nothing but a cold and heartless stare that could endlessly strike fear in even the bravest of men. A look that contained much mystery and one that could only express that whatever life he had was deprived of him long ago. Most, who've met this man, have always believed that one can see an eternal abyss in his serene eye. This man was none other than Zalian. A soldier dedicated to Squad 6, The Law Enforcement Division. It was most questionable as to why a man like Zalian would travel so far away to only arrive in an abandoned ruin.~
~His reason in doing so, however, was because he had received a hell butterfly, containing a message from a man named Val'gun. He requested that they should meet and so provided the instructed details of the location. As to what the reason why they had to meet was still not specified in the message. Regardless, the fact that Zalian had arrived in such so far off, it showed that he indeed still complied. Zalian took his time walking down the hill slowly, finding it unnecessary to rush himself since this was but a mere meeting between two unacquainted individuals, or at least to him. When he had finally made it to the ruins, his serene eye slowly shifted left and right, examining the place as thoroughly as possible while awaiting for this "Val'gun" person who requested his presence in such an abandoned place.~

 As the wind was passing by while Zailan was walking through the mysterious landscape that Val'gun told him to meet a mid sized garganta opened about ten feet away east from Zailan's location. Val'gun suddenly appeared with his scarf swaying in the wind covering up to his neck to his mouth and walked out of the garganta slowly while looking at Zalian. The garganta closed and Val'gun stood there for a good minute to analyze Zailan, then dust suddenly moved from the ground rising in the sky while Val'lgun was lowering his scarf to his neck so than he can talk to Zalian with a clear voice to tell him why he asked him to come to a deserted placed like this and why was it only him not any one else. " Hello I am Val'gun and I am sure you might be thinking why I asked you to come here and why this location, well this place is actually the remains of a land that humans use to live in. This place was actually called Constantinople. These are the ruins where Constantinople use to be. Now for my next answer I have asked you to come here so than we can wage battle. I know this may seem a bit sudden since we do not clearly know each other but I believe you are someone that stands against all the rest and so I would like to see how you are in battle. As Officer of squad 8 I would like to battle you! soldier of squad 6!" Said Val'gun awaiting his answer.

~Zalian watched to the east of him as Val'gun slowly walked out of the garganta. When it had closed, Zalian turned to face him as he stared with his serene empty eye. While listening carefully to what Val'gun had to say, his eye lowered into a discrete but emotionless glare. To him, this was but another opportunity to fight and test both his opponent's strength and his own. But whatever other agenda Val'gun may possess was all just irrelevant to Zalian. Whether it be a soldier, officer, lieutenant or even a captain. No matter how strong or who his opponent may be, Zalian will always use any means necessary to protect his way of justice, his pride, and his determination to become stronger. To become strong enough to serve and protect his squad and all of Gotei. Giving no utter emotion in his serene eye, Zalian's left hand slowly moved to his sheath, gently wrapped his fingers around it, lifted his thumb to slightly click out the guard from the sheath and muttered in a soft but dark tone, "...Accepted."~

The wind started to blow after Zalian had answered Val'gun which had just made the land they were standing on a battle field. Val'gun than raised his right hand and shot out consecutive amounts of balas heading towards Zalian with tremendous speed, while using his left hand to charge a cero in the middle of his palm but held the charge long enough to see Zalian's next move in order to make the attack accurate enough to strike him.

~With a quick glare of his eye, Zalian examined each approaching bala with every Flicker Step he performed. His posture did not alter, nor did his calm stillness as he executed each and every Furikkā, keeping a steady concentration on the main attack Val'gun was preparing. Each Flicker Step was performed side to side, in a zig-zag manner, reaching 3ft from each side while gaining 2ft closer to Val'gun. While half way there, aside from dodging some of the balas, he also countered some of them by unsheathing his Zanpakutou and colliding it against the bala. As he took on these balas head on, he used Furikkā's momentum via speed to increase the force of the block, thus providing initial force strong enough to changing the trajectory of each bala and redirecting it elsewhere, if not almost ricocheting the balas back at him with sufficient strength.~
~This, in turn, allowed Zalian to also gain 5ft forward, with each Furikkā, in attempt to get closer to Val'gun when colliding his Zanpakutou against the bala to redirect them. He continued this process in order to make it difficult for Val'gun to decide whether to fire the Cero or not. If Zalian gets too close, the impact could risk taking Val'gun with him. However, if Val'gun truly does fire regardless of that, then Zalian would know the best course of action to take in case such a decision was made to do so. Whichever the case may be, Zalian was prepared to perceive the situation as thoroughly as possible and plan the next strategic move to catch Val'gun off guard, no matter what the cost.~

Val'gun noticed Zalian moving side to side dodging basically all his ceros. He was finished with charging the cero and finally decided where to fire it. Val'gun placed his left hand towards where the ground is at and shot it at the ground making Val'gun launch himself in the sky and rose up to 30 feet into the air then moving his right in a circular motion while at the same time shooting again consecutive balas towards Zalian but all the balas were going in a spring like motion.

~Zalian slightly widened his eye as he noticed that now Val'gun had shot the cero below him in order to propel himself into the air and begin to shoot more balas. However, reverting back to his usual cold glare, Zalian immediately took action by then performing an elegant sword dance. From twisting his body to spiraling his sword slashes, he had begun to gracefully both dodge and even curve the balas with his own sword movements by timing and synchronizing theirs, thus able to collide the edge of his blade against their sides and once again change their trajectory. Doing so, he made sure to change them in the right direction and curve them to the point of flying back around, in a crescent turn, at Val'gun. This would most likely force him to cease the fire and concentrate on handling the ricocheting balas from his sides.~

Val'gun noticed how strategic Zalian is when he threw back Val'gun's balas right at him in a crescent formation and were getting closer by the second, so Val'gun acted fast and grabbed the jagged edge of his scarf with his left hand and cut the smallest part of his wrist on his right hand making the smallest amount of blood and said an incantation "Thy blood boils with thy own rage" making his hierro as strong as a captain arrancar making him with stood the blows from the balas and not leaving any signs of scratches nor bruises. While the balas were hitting him it created a smoke covering part of the sky where Val'gun was located giving Val'gun time to think what his next counter attack should be. He than realized in that quick second to charge his cero with his left hand since he had the upper hand due to the smoke giving him the advantage of surprise and Val'gun able to locate Zalian's location by sensing his reiatsu due to his ability Pesquisa.

~Zalian watched Val'gun carefully, giving no surprised look other than his usual serene glare. Unchanged and unflinching, he noticed, from afar, that Val'gun cut his left wrist. This alone confirmed to Zalian that he was going to use a temporary enhancement for his hierro. He continued to watch as Val'gun embraced the balas hitting him. The series of impacts of each bala created a thick debris, thus obscuring the vision between each other. By now, Zalian was beginning to understand the pattern in Val'gun's attacks. Even now he presumed that Val'gun was taking advantage of the thick debris to obscure his next move while also taking the opportunity to keep track of Zalian's reiatsu by using Pasquisa.~
~Taking all that into account, and in such a short amount of time, Zalian calmly walked a few feet to his left, letting Val'gun charge his cero throughout the remaining few seconds. After just gaining a few steps further, Zalian had stopped behind a certain shade, turned back to his right via in front of whatever was creating the shade, grabbed the hilt of his sword tightly with both hands, and swiftly swung it horizontally across from his lower waist. It was most questionable and odd as to what he was slashing but due to the fact that Val'gun was using the debris to obscure Zalian's vision of him, the situation was vice versa on Val'gun's side as well. Zalian knew that despite the fact that Val'gun was probably using Pesquisa to follow his reiatsu, it did not mean that he would be able to actually perceive any detail of movements, thus giving Zalian the very same advantage as well. The only question remains... What was Zalian planning to do?~

As Val'gun was charging his cero he had noticed that Zalian seemed to be moving in different directions as if he was trying to confuse Val'gun and not get an accurate hit on him.. Val'gun again needed to think of another plan and fast since the smoke covering him was about to disperse and show his exact location on the sky and his hold on the cero wouldn't last that long, in fact it was about to release. Val'gun knew he had to calm down so he closed his eyes for three seconds and opened them as if he knew what to do from there on. Val'gun started to spin rapidly counter clockwise while his scarf was spinning in the wind which started to create a typhoon of massive winds swirling around Val'gun which had made the smoke disappear but it did not matter to Val'gun since he had a new plan. While Val'gun was creating a typhoon with massive speed and power that started to shake the ground he finally released his cero which seemed like from the out side of the typhoon there were countless amounts of ceros being released everywhere on the ruins destroying all the remains where history had occurred. The cero that Val'gun had just released was attacking everywhere on the ground in 10 to 25 feet radius.

~Though not exactly as it had planned out, Zalian's next course of action was not altered, nor ruined in any way. The fact that Val'gun still had decided to fire his cero, but in multiplied replicas was just what Zalian needed. Even one cero was enough for his next move to execute as planned. Though knowing now that the ceros had multiplied would prove to be difficult for Zalian nonetheless. With a slight raise of his head, he looked up at the typhoon that Val'gun had created and glared once more. The empty look in his eye showed no sign of reaction towards what Val'gun threw at him. But deep down lied a hint of recognition, a look of determination to challenge this dangerous obstacle.~
~ And so, with a quick thrust of his foot, he diagonally kicked down a large pillar from the bottom side so that the top would fall his way. This was the very structure that was shading Zalian this entire time and as it appears, he was planning to use this as part of his next move. The moment the pillar was about to fall on top of Zalian, he immediately thrust his entire palm diagonally upwards at the top part of the pillar as he muttered "Hado No. 1. Sho!" The pillar was then pushed back up but with overwhelming force, enough to propel it into the air and come hurling towards Val'gun's direction. With a quick flicker step, Zalian latched onto the pillar, stabbing it's structure with his Zanpakutou so as not to fall off of it while it was spinning forward and hurling towards the typhoon, no less faster than the ceros shooting straight for Zalian.~
~The moment that one of the ceros had come close enough was when Zalian found the exact time to jump off of the pillar. The spinning of the pillar helped provide a more powerful push to his jump, thus increasing his momentum into the air. Just at the nick of time, he managed to reach over the cero while also getting through the small gap that the other ceros made. It was difficult to pull off as partial of their energies scraped against Zalian's shoulders and arms both from the cero above the other and the one below him, in which he tried to get over. They burned quite a lot, yet Zalian made sure to pay no mind to the burning scraping pain. While shooting out of the pillar, jumping over and through the gaps between the ceros, in Zalian's strategic calculations, even if this daring attempt were to allow him to reach Val'gun, it was not fast enough to catch him off guard.~
~However, this was exactly why Zalian needed Val'gun to respond just as he had planned. In other words, this was not just an attempt to fly at Val'gun by just dodging a cero. If he were to successfully catch him off guard, Zalian would need to shoot himself towards Val'gun fast enough to the point where not even his Pesquisa would be able to anticipate his approach on time. Therefore, by using the pillar as his propulsion, he also had planned to use it for it's impact with the cero. As the pillar collided with the cero, the impact had caused an explosion large enough to reach Zalian. This, in turn, resulted in a large risk to Zalian as the explosion itself may have helped boosted the push but also severely burn his back. Luckily, the armor he was wearing around his torso helped reduced such damage to a minimal burn. Overall, this explosion was large and massive enough to push Zalian to the point of shooting faster than even a bala.~
~It was a very risky and daring attempt that Zalian had made, but was expected and planned out as thoroughly as he had predicted nonetheless. One can even say that not many strategic men are capable of such a feet whereas few, unique as Zalian, would take such risks in order to execute their plans as efficient as possible, no matter the cost. And so after using the flying pillar, the jump from it, the hurling boost, and the colliding explosion all together, it had provided Zalian just the right amount of speed to pass through Val'gun's Pesquisa. Zalian rapidly flipped forward the whole way through until he had finally reached the typhoon. And when he did, he immediately held the hilt of his Zanpakutou with both hands, cutting through the spiraling debris as he found Val'gun. His serene eye now glared and looked straight into Val'gun's eyes, piercing into his very soul. It was the kind of look that almost implied a killing intent. But of course, that's never his agenda.~
~And so Zalian reached close enough to Val'gun's face, staring close into his eyes with a dark and fearful glare, yet wasted no time as he swung the blade of his Zanpakutou diagonally down towards Val'gun's left shoulder. Zalian's plan was to strike down at his left shoulder, then leading that slash down to his torso and to his bottom right waist, thus rendering some maneuverability from his right limb down to some degree of his torso in order to prevent him from bending, twisting, or even arching partial of his torso. This had also proved that despite Zalian's lack of air walk and projectile energy attacks, he would still manage to adapt in the battlefield by using the environmental surroundings and using them as his greatest assets in combat.~

While Val'gun was spinning in the air he had heard a ruckus out side the typhoon as if someone was trying to interfere with his strategy.Then in a moments notice Val'gun had seen small images of Zalian while spinning around noticing him getting closer every second. Val'gun did not lose his posture nor his confidence towards his own strategy, since realizing now that Zalian was a man who knows what he's doing through every single obstacle he has passed smoothly.But Val'gun knew how Zalian worked and yet felt underestimated by him since Zalian had shown no signs of seeing anything as an impossible challenge. Through the time that Val'gun was thinking it had only been half a second, since he was able to analyze and compile data extremely fast as a super computer, making him notice things that people would hardly see in a battle. As soon as he turned once more around he had seen Zalian gotten to the point where he can attack Val'gun in close combat and also noticed Zalian's zanpaktuo almost making contact with him on his left shoulder, but little did Zalian forget that Val'gun now has a captain's hierro which even a hado up to 50 would not leave a scratch on him, even if it was a sealed zanpaktuo coming at non-humane speeds. Just as when Zalian was about to touch Val'gun's left part of his body he used his right hand and aimed at Zalian's face with a bala knowingly that it would be highly unlikely to dodge it since Zalian was going way to fast at Val'gun which would increase the damage of the bala since both speeds would collide creating an explosion and hurt Zalian.

~Zalian had indeed forgot that the heirro was still very much active on Val'gun. It was unexpected that Val'gun would be able to keep it on for this long after already using it to protect himself from the balas earlier. Regardless, it was still a minor error that was of no consequence to him. No matter the situation, Zalian continued to wave options for himself and even early before taking action on the battleground. As such, while immediately noticing Val'gun's right hand reaching for his masked face with a bala attack, Zalian once again counted on one of these occurrences to happen, thus following to his next alternate option.~
~The moment his Zanpakutou came down just a few inches close to Val'gun's left shoulder, he timed his strike from a slashing attack to then a latching move by halting the edge of his blade between his neck and shoulder while his legs reacted in the same moment just at the nick of time. Spreading his legs apart in a complete split, he kicked both of Val'gun's left and right arms apart, thus redirecting his aim just before he fired it. This tactic proved that his attempt was still not flawed, nor did it require him to dodge the bala attack, but rather kick it off balance in case Val'gun resorted to this. At the same time, Zal took this immediate halt of a moment to quickly reach out to Val'gun's face with his left hand as he spoke in a dark tone "Hado No. 33. Sōkatsui"~
~As always, Zalian's serene eye remained unflinching, unwavering, and un-staggered any and all attempts, from Val'gun, to try and outwit Zalian. And so his hand glowed a bright blue color as it shined over Val'gun's face, almost appearing as though the light could engulf it. The moment his hand had glowed with it's powerful kido, Zalian continued to glare straight into Val'gun's eyes, piercing him with a strong and prideful expression. And although Val'gun may still have his enhanced heirro active, which Zalian was well aware of now, the force of the kido, along with the colliding speed he intended earlier that now boosted the force, would at least be strong enough to inflict a punching blow at Val'gun's face, thus shooting him straight back down to the ground.~
