Alright, now, I don't know exactly what's going on entirely for a story line in the guild right now, as we're all kinda inactive I find (including me, save for recently). If anyone has ideas for a story line in which we could maybe kick off for role playing, that would be great. Especially cause there have been a few new members recently joining, we should really make an attempt to keep their attention. They wanted in to role play Harvest Moon after all. So if anybody has a story line suggestion, please, post them here. We can mix and match and create something awesome. ---------- Some things to include in your idea:-Villains (witches, sorcerer?) -Revival of Blue Bell -Something to do with the land (perhaps Blue Bell flowers?) -A challenge from the Harvest God/Goddess -Animals? Things not to add:-Destroying the world ---------- What we have at the moment:Quote: DEE'S STORY LINE-Both the land and the Harvest Goddess are starting to die. -Dee (the Harvest Sprite) is summoned by the Harvest Goddess. -Informs Dee they need to revive the land and the village of Blue Bell. -Dee is the only one in town, so it's quite the challenge. ==================== -Katie enters Blue Bell, looking for a place to start by going to the shops. -Dee informs Katie that the shops are shut down, due to lack of people in the village. -Dee and Katie start working together to clean up the inn, in order to whip things into shape. Quote: SYTHE'S STORY LINE-Blue Bell is abandoned, lacking people for it to actually be a village anymore. -Harvest Goddess has picked up an interest in the abandoned village. -She wants to revive it to it's old, pleasant self, but she needs people in the village for it to function properly. -Asks one of her trusted sprites to find some people to help make Blue Bell live again. -Sprite searches for people to move to Blue Bell. -Characters who are looking for a new life, or characters starting new, are asked by the sprite to help rebuild Blue Bell. -Character goes to Blue Bell and starts their new life, helping to rebuild Blue Bell.

A land about to die, Empress Dee Hiwatari was summoned by the dying Harvest Goddess to bring it back to life.
In order to restore the Harvest Goddess back to her former self and to have Empress Dee ascend to the position of Havest Goddess for Forget-Me-Not Valley, this is what the sprite in training has been assigned.
The trouble is, she is pretty much the only one in town.

Young Katie of Sugar Town Valley has come seeking work in Blue Bell village and had noticed how quiet and empty it was. Shuddering with how eerily close this appeared to Sugar town once, Katie knew she had her work cut out for her.
She first went to the seed shop and was told by Sprite Dee that the shop is closed until further notice.
Then Katie went to the inn, seeking employment there. Sprite Dee was thrilled to see such a working spirit arrive in town, and so, Dee hired Katie to begin cleaning the inn so as to make it more presentable for visitors.
"A clean Inn is the best first step towards a thriving village. For guests are likely to go there first before any place else."

Since I've just recently come back online and such, from the busy world of reality, I've made a new character to start out with along side the new people. Hence forth, Kei and Dante won't be around anymore. She's a new rancher, so there will at least be somewhere to get animals and the such. She may also be looking for ranch hands, which could work for some people if I'm not mistaken (if they're on anymore).

We could still use Kei and Dante, but just not as Ranch-hands. Maybe they left town for some important reason.
The name "Dante" is quite famous particularly around games with the subject of hell. So maybe, on the day that he "left" wasn't exactly...leaving. Maybe his character died because his ancestors who were the guardians of hell need him.
As for Kei, she might be just the opposite. Maybe she was a servant of heaven and like her brother she died too and was sent to live with the angels. It would be there that she found a document pertaining to your new character the Harvest Goddess and it said, "Pending to die". So Kei, worried for the HG, seeks out the Almighty One for a talking to.
The new ranch-hand that will take over for Kei and Dante may discover their bodies and shriek in fear! This alerts Dee, the Sprite in training, to the scene.
Meanwhile, my new character that I am going to make in a moment, is going to just enter the Village via the Flower Bud entrance and see just how barren the town got.
I notice that Link's Homestead is still running, but Link is taking a nap. The goats grazing merrily.
After that, I wander down to the inn and I notice Katie there working all by herself. The floors being freshly swept and looking great, I then ask Katie if she'd like to partner up with me to run it.

Alright, that plot sounds interesting and I suppose a good way to bring in new characters in a thinking outside the box sort of way, but there's just one problem...If Dante has ancestors from hell, then so would Kei...cause they're brother and sister. They're linked, so that would mean that they both would have ancestors from hell, making them both servants of hell. And it would work out the same way with Kei being a servant of Heaven, Dante would be too, cause they're linked. Unless both sides had a preference to either sibling or whatever.
I'd like them to stay human, please and thank you. Servant of heaven or servant of hell, doesn't matter. They were made human, and human they shall stay unless infected with an implausible zombie virus that doesn't exist, or bitten by a creature of the night or some werewolf. Keep them human please, they're just Harvest Moon characters.
I'm sorry if I'm being difficult, but that's just where I stand on this.
The plot idea itself is interesting, definitely. Any other sort of role play and I'd be all over that and with it. But this is Harvest Moon after all.

what about instead of the harvest goddes sumoning her she gets a message from the harvest godess she has been kidnaped by evile spirits the land is now on the brink of death empress dee hitowarie can be the sprite that finds the message at the godesses spring but so can a vilager and dee can find out and asits her

Hmm...then we can have maybe instead of Kei and Dante dying, they like vanish in front of that new character's eyes. What has happened to them is like on Harvest Moon DS/Cute, they've been transported to another world via some sort of evil-doer.
This evil-doer is the same one that caused the village to be near the brink of being a ghost town, the same one that caused the Harvest Goddess to become sick, and pretty much the source of all the problems.
I kind of want that guy that was working the Blue Spell to be the "Bad Guy" considering he worked with Magic spells and such. And maybe he did this all by complete accident.
He was working with the herbs and such that he had been given by Link and when he combined all of the ingredients to want something new to happen...well...the above happened.
Meaning, the old villagers disappeared/moved away/died, the Harvest Goddess becoming ill, and why Dee is pretty much in charge. Yes, for Dee being the sprite in training, now that is a very strong role to play.
Its like combining both DS/Cute with Save the Homeland. But, we need more games involved too. Oh, wait, I just noticed that William-Tyler's going to play as someone from Flower Bud village and we have someone already playing from "all towns". That Katie sure got around. She was featured in "A wonderful Life", Another Wonderful Life, Save the Homeland, Magical Melodies, DS, DS Cute...
Anyone besides me seeing a pattern here?
See, Katie is the potential mayor of Blue Bell Village considering how many "games" she's already been through. But first, she'd work the Inn with Will's character Ray.
As for my character...I want to play as someone that can travel through time. Maybe I can be the offspring of Daryl and Leia the Mermaid.
Having the brains of Daryl and the looks of Leia, except I won't have a fish tail. I would hate for "Ray" to fish me out of the Blue Sea and try and fry me up for dinner. I don't taste good!
But... maybe we can have evil sprites that try and foil what Dee is trying to do that is good. Where there is good, there is also evil.
And I think the Witch Princess should make an entrance here too somehow.

And I think the Witch Princess should make an entrance here too somehow. i like the idea i was playing around with that as well but how will i be involved? more chars then the ones you mentioned need to be involved for at least the first arch of the blue bell story line or some will feel left out.

Um, May, you never mentioned who and how you want your character to be involved.
Sythe is right that we've definitely got some idea formulating. But, what we need is how other characters, like May's are going to get involved based on what we have already.
For examples, look at how Will and how Princess Lisa Thai responded to this thread. You will then notice how to reply to this.

Okay, okay, I've got an idea... StoryAmong the watery plains of the great, wide bearing ocean there are continents and islands, large and small. Off the coast of the main continent, a two day trip by boat, is an abandoned island that once inhabited people. Buildings have been left and animals wander through the forest, casually peering around the empty ghost village. All is not abandoned though... There is a beautiful rocky pond up on the mountain guarded by trees; a faint dirt path with moss, flowers and healthy green grass all around it. The water is a sparkling blue, clear enough to see the bottom with the green water stocks rising up past the surface with their cat-tails swaying in the soft breeze. Though this simple pond looks empty, it is actually a home. Not just for the water life that use it as protection, or as a home itself, but it is home to a very special being. That being is the Harvest Goddess; a beautiful deity known across the continent and some islands. Some people believe in her and some have moved on but, those who are working off the land continue to believe in her, keeping her alive and well so that she may help and extend a caring hand. She travels between her ponds, helping out in different communities such as Flower Bud Village and Mineral Town. Lately though, the Harvest Goddess has been visiting this ghost village, off the coast of the main continent and out to sea, on Ocean Island. She decided it would be her pet project to get this town up and running, just like it used to! The village for sure could use some fixing up, but if she could motivate some people to inhabit the little village, they would make it livable again, and make it prosper. It would be the human's job to make the village come alive once more. Turning to one of her trusted harvest sprites, she asked her assistance in motivating newcomers to inhabit and fix up the poor ghost village known as Blue Bell. Giving those who need it, a new start on life, or even those who were just starting out themselves, a path to start their new life journey on. So hence forth, the Harvest Goddess and her sprites ventured out to towns and villages, looking for people in need of a new start to help build up the old village. As time passed, they managed to motivate a fair number of people to travel across the big sea to Ocean Island. And so it begun, the rise of Blue Bell Village... IntroStarting out on your own or starting a new life, you've been looking for a place to start a new. One day, the Harvest Goddess and her harvest sprites showed themselves to you while you were walking around by yourself, trying to come up with an idea as to where you could begin. They explained to you about a village off the coast on an island, a place they were trying to revive that could use your help. It sounds like a good idea; a new beginning, a new story, a new chapter in your life just waiting to happen! Taking the next boat out to sea at the harbor, your belongings and business in hand, you set out for Ocean Island to reside in Blue Bell Village, where a new beginning is waiting for you...

i like it but i also think we might want bad guys as someone said in a early post and how i want my char to be involved i think thar might be a number of ppl who emperess dee selected and like in animal parade they contrary to most ppl who just felt a whisper in their ear this group of ppl can see her and the goddess i want my char to be one of these ppl if its possible to incorporate my idea that way quite a few ppl can have a important role and other who cant see can be incorporated as well in roles that may not seam important but get more and more important as time goes on

An apostrophe and a period go a long way in making it more pleasant to read someones post. Just saying, not to sound rude or any thing. But from what I can understand, yes, adding in villains into the story line would definitely make it more interesting. How exactly do you want your character to be involved into the story line, because you have yet to actually say how.

Ok ill try I was thinking maybe we could have a secret group of ppl who wear able to see the harvest goddess and her sprites. If we did not go along with that i think i can do whatever i can to be a help in the story, but if i had a choice id like to be someone with hidden powers from that point it can go many different ways. The powers hidden within can be like able to talk to animals of speed up growth in plants but that would be the one she can use her true power could destroy the world but luckily that power is soo deep within her most likely it will never get out

No rudeness intended, but, May, I see many infractions here.
1. The idea behind your character is exactly what I already am.
2. You are not actually trying to improve your spelling and grammar like Sythe had asked you to based on what you typed right after, with the word ill instead of I'll.
3. You are not reading things already stated before.
If you wish to do well in this guild, May, which I know you are trying (I hope), then you are seriously going to have to read everything in this guild so far, take some grammar lessons (I will be happy to give you those personally, no sarcasm in my voice by the way), and then add to the suggestions already made.
